  We need concrete drainage and engineering solutions to address this persistent flooding problem, yet the recommendation is for households to grow grass. We can't even consistently maintain the grass at the Accra Sports Stadium, so expecting every household to solve flooding by planting grass is unrealistic. The government needs to acknowledge that this challenge requires a more comprehensive approach. If necessary, bring in experienced Chinese or Japanese engineers to conduct a thorough assessment and award the project to the most qualified company to deliver a lasting solution. This is a complex engineering problem, not one that can be solved with simplistic measures such as growing grass." Go and grow the grass at Accra Sports Stadium.

  Japan...apuuuuu. They may not even exist in 100 years due to their "inability" to deal with their own "natural disasters".
  Massa, there have always been floods and flooding in Accra.....way before it was made the capital. Just that there weren't too many people. The LITTLE THINGS me and you do can "reduce" not ELIMINATE flooding.
  
  Recently Texas got flooded....and far more people died than our "dieings" wae.....and Texas is a rich US State....with the infrastructures we are agitating for.

  This has nothing to do with grass. Poor drainage and sewage system coupled with inept building codes is the problem. People build houses anywhere they want without proper permit and the government does nothing
