  Massa, when England faced the same problem in the 1800s, someone with a brain, I repeat with a brain called Joseph Bazelgette came up with a solution. It has been copied by major cities around the world. There is no copyright for the template . We have access to it ,and replicate without using our own engineering brains which we probably do not have.. Yet, our venal and utterly reprehensible politicians are only interested in plunder... You can forward it to all the ministers and the president. Simple as that, no book long stuff. It is as plain as the nose on my face. Lasting solution starring at us. What more do we want?   Sir Joseph Bazalgette solved 19th-century London’s cholera and flooding crises by designing an expansive, gravity-fed subterranean network. His brilliant "interceptor" system intercepted waste before it reached the River Thames, relocated outfalls downstream, and built massive embankments to protect the city from tidal flooding.Bazalgette's engineering master plan was rooted in three key architectural and civil triumphs:
  
  . The Interceptor SystemInstead of dumping waste directly into the Thames, Bazalgette designed 82 miles of massive, brick-lined "interceptor" sewers that ran roughly parallel to the river. These intercepted raw sewage from the 1,100 miles of smaller, local street sewers and diverted it far to the east of London, safely releasing it into the Thames Estuary.
  
  The Thames EmbankmentsTo avoid tunneling under the dense and expensive West End, Bazalgette built revolutionary riverside embankments—including the Victoria, Albert, and Chelsea Embankments. These structures:Reclaimed acres of muddy swampland from the river, creating new land for traffic and public parks.Protected low-lying central London from river flooding.Concealed the massive low-level sewer tunnels while housing new gas and utility lines.
  
  Grand Pumping StationsBecause the system relied on a gentle gravity gradient, the sewage needed to be periodically lifted so the flow could continue eastward. To achieve this, Bazalgette built colossal steam-powered pumping stations, famously including the Abbey Mills Pumping Station (often called the "Cathedral of Sewage") and the Crossness Pumping Station.
  
  Forward-Thinking CapacityWhat truly made his system an incredible feat of foresight was its capacity. Despite London's population sitting at around 2.5 million at the time, Bazalgette designed the system for a population of 4.5 million. This allowed his Victorian-era brickwork to act as the absolute backbone of London's wastewater infrastructure well into the 21st century, until it was supplemented by the Thames Tideway Tunnel to support modern city demands.

  Good point my brother. Our problem is the by heart appointments presidents make. For example how can Ocloo be the regional minister of trouble infested Greater Accra Region, how? She is incompetent and totally at sea with all the happenings around her and she should be fired outright before the next calamity arrives not only from the rains but the total disorientation of the chaotic settlements in the city center. This phenomenon is rearing its head in the various MMDCEs in the region.

  It is a five year long term project. The govt takes the loan and make sure these soldiers with pot bellies get on their knees snd build the tunnels.
  Infact, if I had my own way , all schools, bridges, dams , tunnels in Ghana will be built mostly by soldiers with a little bit of extra cash every month to top up their salaries. . It is plain common sense.
  When was the first time any Ghanaian soldier actually went to war? Never!
  UN sponsored peace missions just as useless Afrifa and Ankrah did , yes, war
  Never! Use them for reconstruction,
