Those best placed to effect change into strong institutions are sadly the beneficiaries of the politics of who you know.

These are very excellent observations, but knowing the circumstances in Ghana, it will never stop. Justice Atuguba's frustrations are comprehensible, but as he expresses emotions about a system that's eroded or undermined normal course of handling every business in our society, several other such unprofessional links are being established daily at the expense of the ordinary person on the streets. I wonder how we'd be able to navigate out of it.

For the most part, Prof, when you make a comment or write about a situation in Ghana, it is like putting ice on my hot head, because you say it exactly as it is. I wish we have just ten of your kind. Thanks for this little, but deep-sounding piece, though.
