  Mr. Mawuli Kpeglah, was the continent of Africa, once a huge land under a single leader? If yes, when was that. History had it that some empires have ruled some part of Africa so, why are some intellectuals trying hard to paint a picture that Africa was once a borderless land that was later dissected by the European powers?
  
  In school, we heard about Mali, Songhai, Ghana etc which flourished before the advent of the Europeans so, my question again is, when was Africa, once a huge and borderless land?

Mansa Musa was a ruler of an empire which later died out like all empires, and there are no records that he was the King or anything of that sort over the continent of Africa so, where from this narrative that Africa was once a borderless land?
