It should be an audited reconciliation showing, transaction by transaction, BoG purchases → GoldBod/other aggregation costs → gold sales → FX proceeds → fees → exchange-rate effects → realised/unrealised losses → final institution bearing each loss.
  
  That would settle far more than competing press conferences.
