In I in your position I should not have taken the job of a board member knowing well that I don't have the knowledge and skills to advice SSNIT on how it should be manage and make profit for the state.
One thing I should have done if I am a member of the board is to ban foreign banks and insurance companies from being found custodians and fund managers for Ghanaian employees.
The tier 2 and tier 3 must be managed by SSNIT on behalf of workers and the government.
The fact is that a foreign company comes to take those funds, make profit and give the same as loan to those to whom it belongs.
Those funds are for Ghanaian workers and the state call Ghana and capital flight should not be the case as it is.
I was a civil servant in the 1980s when Jerry John Rawlings was hounding and hunting Ghanaian indigenous companies. As a communist who must support the national capitalist at all the time I was with Boache and others to sympathize with them and also to disabuse their minds that what Rawlings was doing was a socialist policy.
Boache and Appiah Menka as I was then aware had not set up an army to fight the PNDC, so the PNDC was totally wrong to bring those Ghanaian worned enterprises down and grant the market foreigners.

In the 2013 elections petition, this Paul Baffoe-Bonnie as a panel member dismissed all the grounds of the petition and found JDM validly elected despite all the electoral shenanigans perpetrated by Electoral Commissioner. Baffoe-Bonnie had all along been a closeted NDC propaganda secretary on the SC bench. Why is he coming out now openly? To be nominated as the successor to JDM on the NDC's presidential ticket.

After paying hard cash to obtain the building permit, applicants are subjected to very disrespectfull and corrupt processes at the Works department. This process is unecessarily stretched for many years by the staff at the Works department due to their corrupt processes. The current head at the Works department - guy who calls himself "Engineer Obour" is the worst culprit. This arrogant and over pampered "Obour" guy behaves as if he owns his position forever and will never die in this life. Posterity will judge all of this corrupt people at the Works department of the TMA

Auntie Lizzie, your article seems to take a subtle swipe at the Chief Justice, but the more relevant issue is your own record as Chairperson of the SSNIT Board. Since the public knows or believes it knows what transpired at SSNIT under your leadership, the appropriate response is not to engage in insinuation or mind games, but to defend that record directly, with facts, decisions and results.

Many thoughtful observers have rightly criticised the CJ’s choice of words because of his station, but none of us can know the construction of his mind. Indeed, justice must be seen to be done, but accountability must also be seen to be accepted.
