  The entire discourse on the subject is based around the fact that people are being lied to about what is seen when they look at the Atlas and since Africa is somehow placed in the middle, its size reduction becomes more visible.
  This article therefore dues justice ti the subject of the world map.
  The advantage here is the opportunity brought to the fore, for schools and colleges to zero in on the matter and give it the attention it deserve, for our students in particular and officials in general to understand that every position adopted in the pass was meant to solve a particular problem for the common good of humanity.

  The whole point of the "equal earth projection" championed by Togo at the UN is about the visual presentation of the world map at classrooms, offices, restaurant's and other places. These places have nothing to do with navigation and therefore the correct size of Africa relative to the other continents is important, especially to the African child.
