The only answer to develop Ghana or Africa faster is to abolish the practice of political appointments as source of failure and start electing all top officials in government at every sector.

If all political parties have to be destroyed, it is ok, but every top leader at each sector in government can be elected by votes, instead of appointed and all the elected top officials can vote to elect the president from among them to choose a running mate. By that way, in every 4 years, the average Ghanaian will vote to elect an MP and a leader in his or her chosen sector, just one of keen interest which could be the Judiciary, Police, any Ministry or any public office institution. So, that the police for can elect the IGP, the Judiciary can elect the CJ, the education sector (professors, masters, teachers & school staff) can elect the Minister of Education, the military (Army, Airforce & Navy etc.) can elect the defense minister and so on with no more political parties of nonsense recycling of poverty by thefts, corruption, incompetence and indiscipline. It can be very simple and Ghana can develop easily faster by keen competition from expertise with great ideas, discipline, independence, integrity and accountability rather than corruption that are often promoted and covered up due to political appointments, since most appointees-to-be often support or sponsor campaigns of political parties and may not be the most competent expert for the offices they are placed. Also, political appointments are contradictory to a genuine practice of democracy and are very discriminatory and corruptive with no significant value to Ghana Africans, other than "Loot & Share" as gangs headed by one leader

Too much foolish copying with no progress. it is nothing but selfishness, greed and ignorance that enslave most most Ghanaian leaders and most citizens with no respect in any developed nation other than useless pride at home, to earn fake respect as "Honorable" or "His Excellency", when Trump is not even expecting the title of "His Excellency or Honorable"
