  Sport is like that, people should not see it as if they are being rubb of what surpose to have been theirs, no. what about obudu mountain race $50,000 glo marathon lagos $50,000 and most recernt one that was organised in Ido state nigeria $20,000 10KL race and so many in other countries won by other citizen. what you are seeing today may change tomorrow, the Athletics Federation are doing so jost to encourage the young athlete to become's next champions in times to come. therefore pray for your country men/women to win the next edition.
