The results of the election is there for you to see that when people have long mouths to insult, such long mouthed people should also take the results of their misdemeanour when the voters decide rationally to punish such political scoundrels!!!

  A Deputy Minister of Finance and Economic Planning, Fiifi Kwetey says the global economic situation makes it imperative for Ghanaians to develop passion for hard work to sustain the level Ghana's economic growth has attained.
  
  Speaking to Radio Ghana on his perspectives of the future, Mr. Kwetey said the time for free things from Government must be a thing of the past.

  Mumuni Refuses To Serve Under Adjaho? Declines To Be First Deputy Speaker

  Foreign Affairs Minister, Hon Mohammed Mumuni has rejected an offer from his party leadership to be nominated as 1st Deputy Speaker in the soon-to-be-inaugurated sixth Parliament of the Fourth Republic.
  
  After Alhaji Mumuni's rejection of the nomination, the NDC was compelled to replace him with Cape Coast MP and Deputy Attorney General, Hon Barton Oduro.
  
  Details of why the Kumbungu MP-elect declined the offer are not exactly clear, but insiders say he was unhappy he was being asked to serve under Edward Doe Adzaho, who has been nominated by the NDC leadership to become the next Speaker of Parliament.
  
  "Hon Mumuni sees Hon Adzaho as his junior and more so he seems to believe that the position of Deputy Speaker is inferior to the post of both Foreign Affairs Minister and former Vice Presidential Candidate in the 2004 elections," a senior party source told CitiNews on Saturday.
  
  At a meeting today with NDC MPs-elect who will serve in the next Parliament, the NDC leadership told announced its list of nominees for various leadership positions on the Majority front bench to the soon-to-be Majority today.
  
  Alhaji Mumuni was not immediately available for comment.
  Below are details of the list discussed and agreed to at the meeting.
  
  MP-elect for Akatsi South, Doe Adjaho, -- Speaker,
  
  MP-elect for Cape Coast North, Barton Oduro -- 1st Deputy Speaker
  
  MP-elect for Nandom, Ben Kumbour- Majority Leader
  
  MP-elect for Ashiaman Alfred Agbeshie,- Deputy Majority Leader
  
  MP-elect for Asawasi, Mohammed Muntaka, - Majority Chief Whip
  
  MP-elect for Savelugu, Mary Boforo- 1st Deputy Majority Chief Whip

  Prior to the elections in 2008 Mills warned that the NDC would not entertain any attempt by the NPP to steal the verdict of the people again.He warned the nation to expect mayhem if the party suspects the results of the December polls were rigged in favour of the NPP. He threatened to turn Ghana into Kenya if elections were rigged in favour of the NPP.
  
  Your NDC even boycotted the state of the nation address by President Kufuor in 2007. Needless to mention the numerous times when they boycotted parliament.

  This fool of a writer want the debate of free education to be taken out of politics and debated with everybody having an input. Did we do that before this idiot in all probability received free secondary school in Ghana as a Northerner? I am surprised the discriminatory aspect of two different educational system existing in Ghana is not talked about. Is it fair to give a rich Northerner with 10 children free SHS education whilst a poor Southerner cannot even educate one child? Something drastic needs to be done to make education in Ghana operate on equal level irrespective of where one is from.

  The NDC is bereft of any man of integrity. Mohammed Mumuni has in an Auditor General's Report been accused of misappropriation of state funds at the NVTI. The same Mumuni, when nominated as a running mate of Atta Mills was involved in a mysterious early dawn accident in the Haatso-Agbogba corridor for which the NDC predictably accused the NPP of attempted murder. When the details concerning alleged double-game with his wife and a mistress started emerging he refused to speak again about the accident. Enter Doe Adjaho who was accused by an NDC lady executive from the Volta region of raping her. Ben Kumbuor is yet to answer to an accusation by Martin Amidu that he Kumbuor stage-managed his "attempted murder" case when he claimed he had been shot at. CID investigators concluded he shot the gun himself from inside his own car. This case is criminal, and the report can be used to prosecute him anytime. We also remember Muntaka for his "chinchinka girlfriend" and "pampas" episode where he found to have used state money in sponsoring his girlfriend to a soccer tournament in Cote d'voire and used part of our money to buy pampers for his child. Atta Mills thought this actions were mere "indiscretion and misjudgement". Where there is enactment of corruption Dressed and Moulded in the form of Judgement Debts batons change. It's too soon for Ghanaians to forget the role played by Betty Mould Iddrisu and Barton Oduro in parcelling out our moneys and offering to the Woyomes, CP, Waterville et all on silver plates. The plot is becoming thicker and very interesting. Don't forget the chief Judgement Debt contractors in Okudzeto Ablakwas will now be operating from with parliament. Hei, the GHS 25,000 stolent from Ablakwa's SUV; was it part of a contract revenue from judgement debts? I am just asking, oh!

  The initial list of the NDC front bench, apart from Doe Adjaho as Speaker, had Mumuni as first Deputy Speaker, Alhassan Azong, second deputy speaker, Dr Benjamin Kunbuor, Majority Leader, Mohammed Muntaka Mubarak, Majority Whip, Hajia Mary Boforo, first deputy Majority Whip, all northerners, with deputy Majority Leader, Alfred Agbesi coming from the Volta region and Sampson Ahi, the only Southerner (Sehwi) of Akan extraction.
  
  Sources told DAILY GUIDE that after Mumuni’s rejection of the position, Cletus Avoka jumped in to demand that position, but he was denied because of his alleged poor performance as Majority Leader. His own party people were not happy about his delivery as leader.
