  Your ideas make a lot of sense. The petition to the supreme court is just a face saving mechanism used by the npp to calm down their disappointed supporters, but they have ended up making a mockery of themselves as legal luminaries with their so called 'incontrovertible evidence'.

  Very interesting analysis. Surely if as it appears from the data presented in the petition, all the candidates benefited from over voting, then surely this phenomenon could classically be the result of clerical / administrate error and is in no way proof of a CONSPIRACY tpo defraud and / or to FAVOUR one candidate.
  
  One is also at a loss as to how the petitioners apportioned the so-called over votes with a nearly 3:1 ratio between the president's share and that of the petitioner in this case. Furthermore the petition focused heavily on VOTER REGISTRATION figures and completely ignored VOTER TURNOUT or actual counts which should have been their totals after the tally (rather than the 14,158,880) that they made so much noise about because the percentage share of the vote needed for the 50+% for winning the presidential poll is calculated from actual share of the genuine ballots cast. So, was it a convenient oversight on the part of the petitioners not to even mention those totals of actual ballots cast?
  
  Frankly the NPP could have done themselves some good by avoiding what I think are fundamental errors even in their own ARITHMETIC!
