I believe the action of NPP blaming the NDC for rigging the elections anytime they lost makes the NDC looks smart and brilliant. If 1992 NPP accused the NDC of rigging elections and in 2012 this same party comes back to accuse the NDC for rigging elections then NPP looks like a dummy while the NDC looks smart. How can a political party sit down for two decades complaining and not doing anything? This is why I am saying by the utterances of the NPP, the NDC is smart and intelligent group of people. If the NPP is crying foul just to attract sympathy then their crying foul is unforntunate it makes the NPP looks stupid.

Whatever they do, they know they lost. NPP should try to pretend I understand so as not to alienate the people further by these stupid protests. Nothing will come out of the protests anyway.

As for the counting, if the best computers counted those votes ten times, they would come out with different results each time.

Fellow Ghanaians, let us analyze the performance of the two main political parties in this country. NDC’s philosophy is “dzie wo fie asem”. In opposition they allowed the Kufuor regime to mind its own business. As a result the NPP looted the Ghana government for eight good years. The fat cats looted the economy from cash (Kwadwo Mpiani), bungalow (Jake Obetsebi-Lamptey), cooking pots (Sekyi-Hughes) etc…..70% of the richest people in Ghana are NPP apparachicks. In the case of NPP, they believe they know better than anybody else and they are the only people who have the divine right to rule Ghana thus they oppose everything NDC does if it is not from the NPP, whether good or bad, from, Chinese loans, judgment debts, appointments and even the inauguration of President Mahama. This enabled the NDC to always be on their toes in whatever they do. From this observation, you can all agree with me that the NPP are better in opposition than NDC. Fellow Ghanaians, let us ensure that NPP remains in opposition for thirty years. After that time NDC will improve everything and NPP will come back and rule Ghana till thy kingdom come.

NPP so far has accepted the results of the Parliamentary elections. NDC has won 151 seats in Parliament with NPP winning 120. For me the chances that someone would vote for one Party's Parliamentary Candidate and then turn round to vote for Presidential Candidate of a different Political Party would be mind boggling. Even if this has happened it would not be much. So NPP is being illogical in giving such a olossal number of votes that have been rigged in favour of JDM. It is a shame and a big embarrassment for the NPP to doubt the credibility of the EC that declared them winners of the 2000 and 2004 elections.

I have always believed that these clerical and administrative errors (which are not uncommon with elections everywhere) as presented have overlaps. I have also wondered why the actual votes cast have not been mentioned in the arguments but rather 14 million plus, which represented NOT votes actually cast but REGISTERED VOTERS. But we all know that the turnout was around 80 per cent, not 100%.

If you critically observe the body language of Former President Kufour you realise he is not comfortable. What can he do if the party has been taken over by hardliners.

I think what the NPP was just doing in all those 3 weeks was just to have a chance to throw out the most spurious vituperatives against the chosen political order as means of letting their anger of the defeat out in large amount to the lengths of their human powers then wait and see. So when the deadline caught with them, they huriedly string some favourable articles of the law togetherr and then poured some distortions and nevermind miscaculations over it and then presented it as petition and hoped Georgina Woods will cover their showing bum. They never really did any serious evidence gathering because there was none to gather.
