Once upon a time, there was an officer of the Royal Navy named Captain Bravado who showed no fear when facing his enemies. One day, while sailing the Seven Seas, his lookout spotted a pirate ship approaching, and the crew became frantic. Captain Bravado bellowed, "Bring me my red shirt!"

The first mate quickly retrieved the captain's red shirt, and while wearing the brightly colored frock, the Captain led his crew into battle and defeated the mighty pirates. That evening, all the men sat around on deck recounting the triumph of earlier. One of them asked the Captain, "Sir, why did you call for your red shirt before battle?"

The Captain replied, "If I were to be wounded in the attack, the shirt would not show my blood. Thus, you men would continue to fight, unafraid." All of the men sat and marveled at the courage of such a manly man's man. As dawn came the next morning, the lookout spotted not one, not two, but TEN pirate ships approaching. The crew stared in worshipful silence at the Captain and waited for his usual orders.

Captain Bravado gazed with steely eyes upon the vast armada arrayed against his ship, and without fear, turned and calmly shouted, "Get me my brown pants.

Brown pants are used to carry human feces.The NPP Bravado now have the brown pants to shit and have become cowards like Captain Bravado.

A very timely article! These so-called young patriots are nothing but a street thugs, who thinks, being a diehard supporter of a political party will somehow enrich their lives. They keep forgetting the phrase, "No politician is worth dying for", especially, african leaders. Why protest when the case is now in court & awaiting the judge's verdict? Are there any reasonable leaders in the NPP who'll put some sense in these rebels?

The Ghana police is the most vulnerable state institution in the country notwithstanding their bribery and corrupt practices. That is why they need public support to carry out their duties successfully. The current posture of the police regarding the planned demonstration of the patriots can be likened to what transpired between the OPC and the Nigerian Police Force(NPF) during Abacha's regime. Initially the NPF showed a lot of arrogance towards the OPC who were only demonstrating in support of Abiola. When the police were making life unbearable for the OPC the latter turned against the Nigerian police and the result was so terrifying to the extent that policemen were no more bold enough to wear their uniforms in public until Abacha died. Those saying the police should use brute force to stop the demonstration should bow their heads in shame. I don't blame them because they are useless university graduates who have been educated as scholars yet they can't even write books. This is how far our useless university education has brought us.
