Is incitement to violence in itself not a form of violence? Is it responsible leadership to tell your party members that '... they (the NDC) think we Akans are a soft touch. If they push us to the wall we are prepared to die defending ourselves, After all, all die be die'?

Is this rant not an incitement to tribal violence? The worst aspect of it is that neither Nana Addo nor the NPP deemed it fit to apologise for such infamy. Neither did they apologise when an NPP firebrand asked Akans to oill Gas and Ewes.

You say that Nana Addo and the NPP have conducted themselves peacefully after the elections. Do you realise the tension and disruption that their continued rejection of the election results is causing the nation? Do you know that people wearing NDC t-shirts and thjeir properties have been pyhisically attacked and vandalised by NPP supporters? Do you see nothing wrong with the continued verbal attacks on the President, Electoral Commission and NDC by the NPP hierarchy?

Do you realise the damage this rumpus is causing to our national image and international standing?

If Nana Addo were committed to peace he would have accepted the election results, and his party would have followed him. This would have strengthened his hand to demand electoral reform.

Nana Addo and the NPP must learn to put the interest of the country above narrow political interests, and stop the rabble-rousing,
