  Bawumia? He will not be able to deliver for NPP in 2016. This is no curse or damn on him. Buwumia may be the quintessential Banker; a "Nobel Laureate" economist; a scholar of the 21st Century. I don't doubt his brilliance. But that guy will not be able to deliver. He lacks charisma. He is not a politician. HE doesn't have the flare and the glamor and edge to win.
  
  Unless you can understand the politics of Ashanti and Ghana, you will not understand or get what I am saying. Ashantis are bent on crowning Alan Kyeremateng as the next president of Ghana. Anything less will not cut it.
  
  Don't get me wrong. I am an Ashanti. I am from Kuntansi and from Oyoko Clan. I can boast of my heritage. But dude, the problem we have as Ashantis is our ego. If we had pulled behind Akuffo Addo the way we should have, he would have won by leaps and bounds. The truth is that we wanted an Ashanti to be the president. Hence our anemic support.
  
  Bawumia will suffer the same fate and eventually, it will cost the NPP the presidency.

  NPP my question is is this Guy also called John? if not please change him and look for another John for Ghanians like Johns. remmber that after the jnr.jesus story of the june 4th, its has always been johns. so why do you challenge or diputes this facts.this is why some body is saying that the NDC is going to rule for 20yrs.
  he has the feeling that the NPP john to take the mantel is currently 25ys, and is now in the university of Ghana.

  I do not share the views of Mahama regarding who would lead NPP in future. I think Bawumia can and should lead NPP in future. NPP will shed the erroneous tag that it is an Akan party. The ball is in the court of Bawumia to work for it for it will not be handed to him on silver platter. As a former official in NPP it may be the case that Mahama is privy to some information that I do not have but from my own part of the country there is a huge appetite for a seismic change in the leadership of NPP and after we have negotiated this difficult period that change will be clear.
