Don't you think your doomsday scenario being painted here is rather giving the "extremists" in the NPP more credit than they deserve? Furthermore the NPP leadership prides itself in being "champions of democracy" in Ghana and I simply cannot conceive of a situation in which they becme the architects of its demise.

That said, I presume the 1966 coup by the NLC which ushered in Busia-Dombo and the decades of military coups cannot be overlooked. Somehow I doubt that this situation can be repeated in today's Ghana. I believe our democracy has matured enough to resist any such attempt.

Furthermore the context of the so-called "Arab Spring" is completely different from a democracy such as ours. GHANA WILL NOT BE NAIVE AND SINK SO LOW MY FRIEND.
