This is NPP for you! I believe winning elections in Ghana will be so easy if we go NPP way. For example, some of us will still in the USA for so many years and some weeks to the elections we come down and register as Presidential Candidate. If we lose the elections then we file a suit at the Supreme Court that the elections were rigged, we imposed our own judges who will be lenient to our fabricated allegations and 'voila' the Supreme Court will rule that from henceforth Nsem fon Ahi is the President of.......!!! Oh NPP what a party of confused ignoramus. If we have to go your way we don't need an elections. By the way if there is no elections then there will be no political party. If this kind of NPP democracy is what Ghanaians want then some of us would not have fought for JJ to leave? Afterall JJ too is a Ghanaian?

NPP lawyers by their poor moves have driven themselves too fast and have burned their fingers. Yes, they have started on A wrong footing. Undoutedly, their move would compel the Supreme Court to toss out their baseless case. Does NPP want the Supreme Court they do not trust, to overturn the result of the Presidential Election in favour of its Flagbearer Nana Akufo Addo? NPP is, indeed, pathetic. Mr. & Mrs. Ghana, don't be surprised if none of the Supreme Court judges is left to hear NPP's bogus case!

You see, what is at stake here is the lapse of time between the appointment of The Executive Secretary to The President, one of the respondents in the case, and the appearance of Justice Atuguba on the panel, and not even his membership on the panel, but the position and the poer he wields as the president of the panel members.

What would be the importance and effect of his last vote, in case there is a 'tie'?

This Akan aphorism stated above impliedly means:

'No matter how honest Nana Akuffo Addo would try to present himself, Nana Akyea Mensah, The Odikro, would never be appreciative of it'.

The question is : Why, Nana Akyea Mensah, The Odikro? Is the reason historical?

'May-be or not-be', but what-ever the reason, we leave it to his conscience.

Besides, if Nana Akyea Mensah, The Odikro, were one of the Supreme Court Justices, He would be one of the typical examples of 'recuse' Jusitices.

Now lets get into one of the reasons why I am saying this;

Nana Akyea Mensah, The Odikro, was the first person to question the reason why Nana Akuffo Addo did not comment on his brief stay at the Oxford University. This allegation was later refuted.

Now with his article, and I quote:

"..Under the English Law, whenever the Supreme Court is unable to arrive at a decision,the decision of the lower court, or the competent legal authority prior to
the litigation, stands. Thus the question of the legitimacy of the
Presidency of President Mahama remains intact, since the Electoral
Commissioner is the last competent legal body that would be left as a
result of the incapacitation of the Supreme Court to sit on the case. Thus
the NPP is clearly playing a game it cannot win"

I am very surprised how Nana Akyea Mensah, The odikro, is interpreting this aspect of The English Law; And the correlation between the 'Judicial System' and 'The Electoral Commission'.

The 'Electoral Commission' is not part of the 'Judicial System'- The Courts System, and therefore his argument is flawed and untenable.

The English Law was referring to the 'Hierarchy in The Court System' that is, 'lower courts, Appellate and The Supreme courts'.

This guy comes home from work one day to find his dog with the magician neighbor’s performing rabbit in his mouth. The rabbit is dead and the guy panics.

He thinks the magician is going to hate him forever, so he takes the dirty, chewed up rabbit into the house and gives it a bath, blow dries its fur and puts the rabbit back into the cage at the magician’s house, hoping he will think it died of natural causes.

A few days later, the magician is outside and asks the guy, “Did you hear that Highlife my magic rabbit died?”. The guy stumbles around and says, “Um.. no.. um.. what happened?”.

The magician replies, “I just found him dead in his cage one day, but the weird thing is that the day after I buried him I went outside and someone had dug him up, gave him a bath and put him back into the cage. There must be some real sick people out there!

It seems even without going to court they are winning in the court of public opinion. For Ghana to advance its democractic credentials an independent judicial is our first priority. So the nagging bottlenecks should be tackled and done away with.
