The first rise against the SMC was started by students then hijacked by the matemeho hypocrites led by Victor Owusu and Afrifa. The second and more meaningful resistance against JJ Rawlings and his PNDC was started by the likes of Wireko Tarzan Brobbey, Kwesi Pratt, Kweku Baako and many who sacrificed with their lives.

Akufo-Addo's own disparaging statement about women (their behind, waist, etc) and his own claim to masculine virility show he is a pervert and deviant.
His leadership is challenged by the still open questions about his substance abuse. I make no insinuations. But he has not addressed these questions. His cloudy educational experience reflects a privileged man who feels entitled and who at best was a mediocre student.
What has Akufo-Addo achieved apart from his pedigree? How does he compare with a little girl in Pakistan, Malala Yousufazi, who almost died in the fight for the right to education? How does Mr. Akufo-Addo fare in comparison to a poor farmer in Ashanti, Central. Eastern, Northern or Volta region, who does not have enough to feed the family, but who nonetheless serves her family community, and church; and shares her meager resources with others who are more desperate?
The suggestion that Akufo-Addo might be in the company of Mandela, Dr King Tutu and Wangari Maathai reflects the outlandish sentiments of a dreamer. But the reality is that Akufo-Addo is a failed politician; no one would be mentioning his name but for his pedigree. Nobel Prize? Please!

There has never been and may never be a Ghanaian with temperament, wisdom, foresight, ideas and ideals to become candidate for the award and its monetary prize; no not when tribe and political parties fronting for tribal superiority consumes us all. If Mr Hamilton and other intellectually dishonest Ghanaians think the use of a kangaroo Ghana Supreme Court where every member on the bench belong in the pockets of the NPP and NDC is the civilized world's measure of jurisprudence and wisdom then John Hamilton may have lived too long in laala land.
Nana Akufo-Addo is no different from the handful of Ghanaians born with silver spoon in the mouth; Nana grew up without appreciation for humble existence. Yes people talk about Akufo-Addo’s service to Ghana and yet no one, not even Akufo-Addo can run on his own record from birth to his current standing. The president elect John Mahama is no different either. The quest for money, easy money and the joy of stealing from the Ghana treasury to become rich by Ghanaian yardstick is what drives Mahama , Akufo-Addo and those past and yet to come; screw honesty, equity and accountability to God and man.
In Ghana we worship rich people irrespective of the sources of their wealth. Going into Ghana’s court system and or practicing law in Ghana is no different from making money at Makola and other flee market areas in Ghana. Lawyers play in an arena reserved for them to make money even when they sell their clients down the river with judges who would have let Judas become a hero if he lived in our time in modern day Ghana. If Nana Akufo-Addo needs the presidency to fulfill his dreams, feel complete or successful then, he like all the other greedy bastards in Ghana, may never get to the imaginary heaven and or the real heaven most Christians in Ghana talk about/dream of.
