Kofi, You are right, these things cannot and should not be taken for granted. However I am still waiting to see the links to your title. I would have thought a king's coronation would observe all protocols meticulously.

Kofi sounded sensational in some regard. Ghana has always sworn in our Presidents in an African context where all traditional chiefs participate to show their allegiance so whether it resembled a Mafia movie or not, We have been like this for ages before even the mafia movie 'God Father' was made.

Then we can also copy. All over the world, people copy from one another. China now uses traditional London Black Cabs.

China copied Russian jet fighters. Our Democracy is a carbon copy of the western democratic system so what is wrong in copying?

Kofi, on a lighter note, I have been informed that the girls for Mahama thought the use of the IPad was hip and that was why his advisers made him use it. This is how Ghana "go"

You and the writer do not know what you are talking about,some of you criticize just for the sake of it.

In the US that this guy referred to in his garbage let it known to him that during the state of the nation address the president does not single out the Chief Justice to ackowledge his presence but addressed the Speaker which is what our president did,not acknowledging Kufour was a mistake nobody should keep talking about.

Now,this guy claims since the Africen Presidents already congratulated the president there was no need to pay another respect to him in Ghana to show their support and the same writer is saying there was nothing wrong when Presiden Mills embraced the Ivorian president but this guy forgets that the African leaders including the late President Mills also already sent their congratulatory messages to the elected Ivorian leader before attending that ceremony which is not different from what happened in Ghana.

Let us not criticize just for the sake of it and stop contradicting ourselves.
