"There should have been a system where the public would have a say in the persons who sit on that Vetting Committee". Mr Editor, that system already exists and that was the Parliamentary Election. It's the people who decided that the two should be in Parliament and again, the people have given Parliament powers to make decisions on their behalf and that is exactly what has been done.

You may not like the two parliamentarians for what they have said or done in the past but that should not bar them from their parliamentary duties. Again, it's their party that nominated them to serve on the committee and they should be judged on their performance in the house and not only what they said and did outside Parliament.

To question the electorates of the two constituencies they represent is an insult and you must apologise to them or bow your head in shame. I do not agree with what they have done or said in the past but that is not enough to stop them from playing their roles in Parliament.

Surely if they are incompetent, they will soon be found out.

I was really saddened to learn the story of Ursula Owusu about her confessions regarding all the help and support Prof Mills gave her in her time of need at the University and what caricature of a person she has apparently turned out to be, AN UNFAIR AND UNJUSTIFIED CRITIC OF HE LATE PRESIDENT.
