This is a very healthy exercise. The NPP should have been doing this earlier before they miss out important details. I am however at a loss, as to why an article that began with a promise not to apportion blame, ends up blaming your party's parliamentary candidate!
The day you decide to blame people, I guess we must all run away! Wow! Any way, having said that, I still find this analysis a step in the right direction. It is far better than the fairy tale the leadership of the NPP want Ghanaians to believe, I.e. they were cheated by as much as over 1,300,000 votes! Hahahaha! hehehehe! hihihihihi!
Forward Ever! Backwards Never!

The valuable lesson to be learned from your convoluted article is that tribal politics and ethnic-based calculations will always fail,in my beloved Ghana.
This segment I quote, from your article, reveals your misguided focus on and over-confidence in, non-existent tribal hewing to party cleavages, by the electorate in a particular constituency:
"Looking at the make-up of the constituency, areas that have quite significant Ga population like Community 1 and Newtown have consistently voted for the N.D.C while more predominantly Akan areas like Communities 4,7,8 and 9 have found it reasonably to vote for the N.P.P."
The fact that a person who might have made a plaintive appeal to people of tribal inclinations - such as you- lost the election, is of much joy to me, who is without any tribal bias in my bones.
I am elated that my people have moved beyond petty tribal identification to join the rest of the enlightened human race.
Take a cue from those who rejected tribal nuances you elucidated and reform your mind for the better; from the backward and retrogressive urge for primordial thinking along clannish lines, to more sane reasoning about other pertinent attributes of a person, other than their tribal identification.
The world is a much more interconnected place and there is little tolerance for tribal and ethnic bigots such as you.
Any person who expects to win an election, based on solely their familial background and ethnic pedigree, should be rightly defeated and rejected by forward thinking people, who exercise their franchise at the polls to promote peace and harmony among diverse people.
That unity of purpose, in extirpating the canker of bigoted politics is what lead to the defeat of that NDC candidate,as well as the NPP presidential candidate. That double-edged sword cuts both ways, against the two major parties in Ghana.
Learn that lesson well and next time shed your primitive tribal mindset. Shirk from statements that reflect very poorly on you and your obtuse parents, who did not inculcate you with enough sense to see that you have to think beyond tribe.
Thank you.

Bernard, don't you think you were rather too hard on Nii Allotey? He just gave you the situation on the ground and this is what he gets? Look I think the Ga population and voters are as sophisticated as they come and I agree, the chiefs rejected Kempes because he was so arrogant to tears. You are not a Ga man and yet you think you can be lord over the people and you fail. Yes he did not put money in his campaign also. He also should not have allowed the votes to be recounted outside the polling station area. His people were not vigilant also. Look, his problems are more than that from not attending election meetings to outright disrespect and I think the party has taken notice of Kampes who is a very hard and competent worker but no human relationship. Why do you think the NPP put a Ga man out there? We have not broken our tribal umbilical yet? Think about how and why the Gas voted massively to Mrs. Okiti Dua who is not a Ga-Adange! Nii Allotey good observation!

So darn fixated on tribe!! DAMN!!! Give it up already!! If that assertion of yours holds true then it did not matter about tribes, but rather the political affiliation did!!
How do you bend the reality to fit your delusions about anything tribal?
There is no way you can know the tribal affiliation of anyone who votes and there is no way you can know how and who the person voted for, so get real and give up all the meaningless bullshit about what you might jerk off to, but which is not is a consideration by the "sophisticated" electorate you write of.
Answer all your meaningless questions yourself and get educated about the social trends in Ghana, which rejects animals of primordial and primitive tribal mindsets!!
People cannot be herded into a tribal identification and then be exploited by those vain people to gain their self-aggrandizement agenda!!

I can soundly debunk your notion that "Over 75% of us vote along tribal lines".
First of all, the last time I checked, registering for the national elections does not involve any identification of a person's ethnicity, except to conform to the constitutional mandate that they have to be Ghanaian.
So while a person may be a Togolese Ewe they cannot vote in the Ghana Elections. Same for any other Akan tribal person from Cote D'Ivore, or an overlapping tribal person from Burkina Faso. Voting in Ghana is solely by Ghanaians and not by tribal identification.
Secondly and most importantly, voting is by secret ballot. When a person goes into the booth to vote they cast that franchise in private and not with a proclamation that they are voting for one candidate, or the other, based on a tribal appeal.
There is an imprecise statistical tool which is called "exit-polling"; where a sample segment of an electorate is asked to self-identify their ethnicity and the candidate they voted for, in order to extrapolate some data on what trends can be observed in the general population.
While you do not show us a link to any empirical data to support your vacuous assertions, I never-the-less can soundly reject your position about voting on tribal lines, based solely on this observation:
It would be very difficult to form an abstract about a person's ethic extraction, in many of the Ghana constituencies, because there is no place in Ghana that is ethnically homogenous.
There is so much inter-marriage and co-mingling of tribes that there is a pseudo identification with ethnicity.
A person born in the Ga enclaves of Accra may self-identify as a Ga, despite the fact that their forebears may be from other ethnic background.
If one's parent's heritage is the sum of their character and being, then you might as well trace your ancestors to the cave-dwellers of past and you will come to one common tribe and parentage.
Get that lesson into your psyche and absorb it well. You have no idea who your mom fu*ked to give birth to you, so you might be dead-wrong about your tribal cleavages..
For real.. all this shit about tribe just pisses me the fu_k off!!

No, the courts should do the braisntorming for NPP. That is what they prefer. And then in 2016 when they lose they will still blame somebody.
