By their Hasty pronouncements, Common sense has it that the NPP has ceased to become a Political Party.
Bokor should have made it clear this way as NPP stated clearly that non of their candidates recognizes the mandated EC and therefore would in future boycott all elections organized by the MANDATED EC.
In this view, the Npp has ceased to be a political Party and the CPP,PNC,PPP and others should now take the opportunity to widen their net of becoming the largest opposition. The elephant is dead now.

This is no boycott! It is so obvious that they would be wasting time and money on a candidate in that region, particularly Akatsi. How many seats has NPP won in the Volta Region in the past election?

One simply cannot help wondering why the leadership of the NPP seem to be digging themselves into a deep hole from which they cannot get out. Theirs is a catalogue of errors which they continue to multiply. Now it seems to me, anyone among that leadership who takes a critical view of what is going on is branded a "traitor" or "not a genuine or bonafide member" of the party.
For a political party that boasts of its stature and rich possessions of "the best brains" in the country, characterising their behaviours and mistakes as childish is too generous. I had hoped that by now they will regroup, begin to analyse the fault lines within the party structure and what appears to have been a poor election campaign. Then take stock and reorganise the leadership with a broad based national coalition that reflects the aspirations of the electorate. But what do they do? Continue to make sad utterances, silly arguments and you simply feel sorry for the long suffering supporters who are being deceived.
If they carry on like this, they cannot provide the strong opposition that one wishes to see, to ensure that the government in power does not take the electorate for granted. I am still waiting to see when the NPP leadership will 'get to their senses' and wake from their 'slumber'. Sad for Ghana politics if you ask me!

You have put the 'cart before the horse'. Mr. Paul Amuna. Sorry to say this.
What has the leadership of the NPP done that "..seem to be digging themselves into a deep hole from which they cannot get out."? I ask.
Have they taken arms?
Has anybody been killed?
What did they do when the supreme court gave a verdict in favor of the NDC petition?
They kept quiet and accepted the
decision of the supreme Court because they are good citizens and they try to abide by the tenets of the Constitution?
Yes, I understand your fears.
Let me give you this analogy to explain your situation:
And this is from the Bible.
When Jesus was on the cross and people were insulting and rediculing Him, He said :
".Father, forgive them, for, they do not know what they are doing".
Jesus died, burried, descended unto hell, seized the 'keys of death' from satan, and when He resurrected on the third day, He gave the powers, to all those who believe, and now, we can boldly say:
'By His Blood, we are healed!'
'By His stripes, we are saved!
And by the insults and invectives on Nana Akuffo Addo, Dr. Bawumia and Hon. Jake Obestebi Lamptey, we have got our
'Freedom and Liberty!'
And hence,
'Free and Fair Elections', without Fear and Favor!
I have seen that 'My One VOTE', can elect a President!
My vote counts!

Really, is Mr. Dr. Michael Bokor well- educated or he is just being blinded by unnecessary' party fanatism' or 'political sycophancy'.?
Why should I ask this question?
I am asking this question because of the logic in the articles he writes on Ghanaweb .
And I quote a few from this article:
"...have pushed its Akufo-Addo and Mahamudu Bawumia into the dark chambers of the Supreme Court instead of the seat of government.."
Dr. Mr. Bokor Should have rather said:
..Into the 'bright chambers of the Supreme Court' because where there is the 'Truth' there is the 'Light' and for him to use the adjective 'dark', implies that, he does nor respect the 'integrity and sanctity' of the Supreme Court Chamber.
And again, I quote:
".. I have said it several times that their vitriolic reaction to Election 2012—even if regarded as constitutionally permissible—is creating more hiccups for them than they can endure..."
Is Dr. Bokor not rather putting the poison into his own mouth and commiting the suicide?
Why should Dr. Bokor state ..."..even if regarded as constitutionally permissible..".
Is he referring "..their vitriolic actions to Election 2012, which is in the constitution or what?
I am stating that there is no such vitriolic actions, even if permissible, in the Constitution.
The constitution will not condone 'Liberty and Freedom' with 'Anarchy and Chaos'.
OR better still,
Does it mean that Dr. Bokor cannot read and understand The Constitution?
No, in all these, I can conclude that Dr. Michael Bokor is a great scholar, but he is either pretending to be blinded by sheer 'opportunistic political fanatism' or he is exchanging his 'intellectual prestige' for a 'cup of porridge'.

Kofi, please note, that I am simply providing some clues as to the problem of the NPP. I am saddened and frustrated at the many mistakes they are making. I have made the point that whenever people even within the party try to point out their mistakes, they are criticised or condemned and that is part of the NPP's problem. The voices of 'dissent' are not being heard.
My advice to you is this, the best way to learn is to take, accept criticism and use it to improve. If you bury your head in the sand, the problems will always be there. I wish to see the NPP as a strong political party but I tell you if things continue like this, they will have more problems. By the way if you wish to address me with a title, then the title is Dr Paul Amuna, not Mr.
