Mr. Denis, your posting exposes your own ignorance about how information gets around in our globalised, computerised world. Thanks to modern communications technologies one does not need to be physically located in a place to be able to participate in local information flows. The fact that the writer is physically located in London does not make him absent from Ghana in real time. I also live in Europe but because of the availability of high tech gadgets I am better informed about events occuring in Ghana than than someone living ten kilometers away from an event but lacking access to the large variety of satellite and cable communication technologies available to ordinary people in advanced countries. One does not only read infos here. One has the possibility to see and hear things that happen in Ghana in real time. That is why noone can get away with cold war style, obsolete and backward propaganda lies anymore. Before the lie is put out millions of people all over the world have already been informed about the real situation. The writer is probably more in touch with events in Ghana than you, because of access to information technologies that will appear like science fiction to you.

There are lots of researchers, professors, teachers and other professionals whose contribution is not only to Ghana but advancing the progress of all of humanity and thereby improving Ghana´s image worldwide. Pls Adreba You have written as an intellectual, kudos! l deem it a duty to keep you abreast with issues of politics in Ghana. Being a strong member of the NPP in my community, Garu Tempani in the upper East region, what i gathered from p'ple was that, though the NPP brought abt the single spine pay policy(SSPP), they could not implement before they left office in 2000. The NDC implemented and took the credit thereof and also paid arrears due all workers on the spine. Secondly, Nana Addo was not given enough support within the NPP. The free education being espoused by Nana Addo was not captivating enough esp in the three northern regions. They have tasted the free education and it is not as rosy as the proponents of the free education apre thinking, therefore the north wanted something different from free education. Nana's message was free education throughout the country. Finally, the wrongs committed by officials of Kuffour's regime was visited on Nana's bit to rule Ghana. You wrote billingsgate considering Ghanaians in totality because some Ghanaians belong to the NPP while some belong to the NDC. Some NDC members may cross carpet to the NPP and some NPP members may cross carpet to NDC. I am saying all this without prejudice to whatever evidence the NPP has against ruling NDC.
