  What I find particularly irritating about this article is the penchant of the writer to pretend that Ghanaians are being subsidised by Europe and the USA, our so-called "development partners", when in reality, we are rather subsidizing their economies!
  
  This fundamentally bankrupt position completely mares whatever good intentions contained in the write-up. It is insufferably stupid not to see how Ghana and Africa is being swindled on a daily basis by these imperialist powers, apart from the crumbs that fall off the table as "aid"!
  
  Just consider how Ghana was literally swindled by Goldman Sachs to steal the AshantiGoldfields from us, and hand it over AngloGold for pennies on the dollar! Look at the current attempt to penetrate our agricultural production with genetically modified organisms by corporations of dubious intentions and abilities!
  
  There is a tap running. The writer complains the room is wet. Instead of closing the water tap, he is asking for towels to mop the floor! What kind of nonsense is that? Whose tax payers are feeding us? We have been exploited by these people since slavery, and they continue to exploit us to this day! The writer must stop adding insults unto injuries by outrageous suggestions that somehow, we are a nation of beggars!

  I think the writer has VALID POINTS.
  We cannot present a BALANCED NATIONAL BUDGET without a "foreign DONOR component"

  We CANNOT generate ENOUGH NATIONAL INCOME,and so we TAX heavily...mostly at the PORTS.
  EVERYBODY WOULD LIKE TO RIDE IN A CAR,but mostly you'll have to EARN your RIDE!
  Ghanaian and African politicians LIKE ALL THE TRAPPINGS of POWER but VERY FEW are prepared to WORK for that life-style!!! WHY ???

He has set a wedge between southners and northerners and sooner rather than later he will have to pay for this act of being divisive . Where is his promise to provide an all-inclusive government, He has deceived and short-changed all Ghanaians.
