I call the attention of Ghana's historians, politically wannabes and self proclaimed intellectuals, particularly more so those who claim to promote property owning ideals to constitutions of the many civilized western nations we've all come to adore and enamored. Each of those constitutions is where they are with amendments and changes not as fancy exercises but as society changes with time. In eastern nations when church doctrines (Islamic) guided governments they became labeled as fundamentalists state/nations and yet Britain's Anglican Church was a state run institution that guided the nation’s moral values and principles without Britain being called a fundamental Christian nation; they proudly called it a democratic nation. In the US, while there is no ordained national church, its currency, convocations and practices at all three branches of government are led by Christian inspired activities. But even these practices and procedure have changed with time.
Nkrumah's CPP was and is not a socialist party and did not adhere to strict socialist doctrine just as in the year 2013, most in the civilized western nations do not emphatically label China a communist nation but only China's government procedures.
The problem we have and will continue to have in Ghana is our refusal to grow with time and or our inability to appreciate human intellectual growth and possibilities. There are those who knew classmates who were once placed in lower percentile levels in class but have blossomed in intellect when given opportunities in western nations to pursue graduate and or post graduate studies. It is this inability to grow and or understand changes in the human spirit that led to groups such as the Danquah, Busia. Dumbo crowd into thinking that Ghana could not prosper under anything other than what they saw come out of western nations. The proof of Nkrumah’s genius continues to elude his followers and his detractors.
In every nation on earth where people did come away from under the rule of an elite class, there has been failed attempts to dismantle the very elite lifestyles people abhorred. This happens to be the case because allowing government property to be sold to private owners does nothing but allow what was once national property to become private and in the hands of the very elite who stole, cheated and implement policies that favored them above all. Did Nkrumah's CPP appoint every member of Ghana's parliament or were they voted into office? Does multi-party system ensure true democratic, free enterprise, property seeking society? Ghana is known everywhere civilized communities exist as a nation well steeped in bribery and corruption but just because they say Ghana is the best democratic nation in Sub-Sahara Africa we jump for joy. Why are our democratic values and principles only relative to African standards? We have, as a nation, refused to accept human growth and all its possibilities; we just love our masters and their ideals and cannot detach.

Beyond all that, you are a cheap liar. What millionaire in America who is sane and not eccentric, actually lives in a wooden structure? From what I know, they live in $2 million to $40 million mansions.
Let me give you some good old fashioned free socialist education. Socialism does not prescribe poverty for its people as some of you have been brain-washed by our oppressors to think.
What socialism aspires to do is to get the state to mobilize as much human, material and financial resources of the state, for a fast-track development and betterment of all within a given society. Socialism allows, but does not encourage or promote, the vile system where a few people acquire so much money which they cannot possibly expend during their life time whilst a vast majority of the people can barely make ends meet. This isevident even in America where the total wealth of a few thousand billionaires and millionaires make up more than 60% f the entire wealth of that country. Now this is a country where many of their citizens have to resort to living off garbage dumps to stay alive. If this is not uncivilized, then I do not know what else is.
In short, there is nothing wrong with anybody in ‘socialist Russia’ owning a fifteen storey building. Many of the billionaires in that country today are some of the richest people in the world to boot. Same for the Communist Peoples Republic of China. The difference that the two latter countries present is that the poorest in their society is well taken care of, so that they don’t fall below a certain ‘uncivilized’ and hopeless case scenario, minimum threshold, by the state.
Under the trying and extremely difficult situation facing the CPP today, it seems to me that you must revise your CPP slogan inside out to read ‘Backward Ever, Forward Never’until you have got your act together.
You sign off as the ‘CPP Underground’. I caution you to stop playing underground because as frequently happens with the galamsey operators, the pit might cave in on you.
