  Thanks for this well-written piece. Indeed, it was long passed the time to take on the charlatans. Some of us started early, way back in the early '90s and had earned for ourselves a lot of hard knocks. But we are not deterred. It therefore gladdens my heart that more and more people are now openly saying we've been saying for nearly 20 years now!

  we need to educate 7 billion citizens of the world that there is only one Universal DIVINE god and he does not need priests, mujaheddin s, vicars or rabbi! He communicates directly with all 7 billion people! The goons need to do some productive work that is revised by the courts!
  
  Gal 5:20 and 1st Corinthians 13 as well as the Ten Commandments clearly define who is who? The government needs to certify all these goons as criminals and send them to Timbuktu for community service to scann all the scrolls the goons destroyed!

  We are our own enemies. God is same for Fulani, ewe, Ada, Jewish, afghanistan, British, Somalian etc yet we are told the only living god comes from Israel, Mecca, India and very soon china excluding Africa. Trassaco valley which sells over a million dollar houses a lot of pastors. The sophisticated ones have move to airport hills and all the good suburbsetc. we lack water, good sanitation, educational facilities, health posts etc yet in the midst of all these challenges, they are leaving large in the name of the bible. Business class travels, good designer suits, best hotel foods and caters, best schools for their children. They organise all kinds of services to attract people for more money. Why, why, why? Do we deserve all the swindling without any protection.

  Well said brother, but who is to blame. Ghana was ajdged the most christian country in Africa. Everybody seems to think he/she is a christian because they attend any church. With this in mind one dare talk about any pastor and the whole country with help of these media will fall on the person. Meanwhile, we all know is going on yet, pretend these pastors are angels. The book I am writing is about these misbehaviour of these charlatans who go out to seek the devil's powers to profess their annointing. Jesus never told any sick person of someone causing illness. Unfortunately, this is the order of the day because everybody suspects an evil spirit being the cause of their situation. Even the rich are afraid of death so they need a message of who is planning an attack. With all these finger pointing, the charlatans never cure or prevent anything. There are a lot of sick people on the streets but none of these so-called powerful God-sent pastors have ever helped to heal them to reduce the number on the streets. They only create confusion in families to maipulate and abuse their victims. Shame on the charlatans who are patronised by the weak among the society.

  Guys, the writer hit the nail right on the head. Unfortunately, the orthodox churches are equally plagued with that disease, though not exactly the way the 'ONE MAN' churches are going about it. Talk about the protestant churches - Methodist/Presbyterian/Anglican and the likes. Stationing and Overseas postings are now serious business! If you want to be stationed or posted to overseas missions, the men at the top have to GET THEIR 'CUT'. An undertaking, agreement is reached to 'remit' your benefactor. After all when you get such 'GOOD' postings, you have a lot of advantages - good education for your children, being able to build a house in quick time, opportunity to better your education if you are brainy, just to name a few. From personal observation, ONLY A FEW of these members of the clergy REALLY RECEIVED THE 'CALL'. And the truth is that when they mount the pulpit, NOTHING of substance comes out of them, why, because, like SAMSON of the bible, 'the spirit of the Lord has departed from them and they do not know it.' They are a pathetic sight to watch!! VERY, VERY PATHETIC!!!

  Why are the law-enforcement agencies silent on them? In developed countries, a pastor who misbehaves faces the law as any other citizen. They are not above the law.
