If Ghanaians spend about half of the energy they have been spending on this homosexual and Oye issue, our country would be better than any country in the West. For the umpteenth time, let me tell you that Oye is not trying to promote homosexuality in Ghana; she just wants to protect them from hate crimes etc. No one can promote homosexuality, it is not contagious or learned behavior, ask the gays and lesbians and they will tell you it is “natural” to them. Why would anyone want to be persecuted and hated by choosing homosexuality?
On the contrary to what you wrote, both Britain and the US have put in laws to protect the homosexual, it is hate crime when LGBT folks are targeted due to their orientation. Britain has threatened to not support or withdraw donations to countries that don’t protect LGBTs. I don’t believe both Oye and Mahama are trying to promote homosexuality in Ghana; they are simply going to try to protect them. Sure, most Americans don’t support or believe in same sex marriage but they believe in LGBTs protection as citizens, and not to be discriminated against.
Enough of this nonsense, let is focus on fighting corruption, stealing and other serious crimes in the country instead of targeting homosexuals, who don’t adversely affect our economy in any way.

In recent years they have gathered momentum and for NOW seem to be gaining ground fast .Noone should underestimate the influence of these Pro-gay lobyist who have now established powerful networks in the mass media be it TV or Newspapers etc etc in Western countries.They now seek to infiltrate countries like Ghana through inducements or pure coercion and blackmail. THEY HOWEVER SERIOUSLY UNDERSTATE THE LEVEL OF RESISTANCE TO THEIR INCURSIONS IN COUNTRIES LIKE GHANA. The extraordinary influence of these lobyist is clearly demonstrated in Western countries. Yet most of my compatriots choose to hate people on the basis of their sexual orientation, is really nobody's business but theirs. Why is homosexuality indecent? Because the Bible says so? (let's not even get into a discussion of whether the Bible is a legitimate authority on moral matters). You make the point that Nana Oye Lithur's stance is against that of the masses.
