The coach should be fired immediately for his weak performance.He is in charge, he has no excuse.For his failure to hunt for Ghanaians stars abroad he made a big mistake.The country can not be paying him such a salary and he is under performing,why did he not hunt for other Ghanaian stars?is a tournament of stars of various countries not a place to experiment, he reduced the stars to meteors.The coach is also vindictive and never forgives and that draws negativity.Ghana should have people like Abede or Yeboah as coaches, they are super stars they would send some influence both at home in Internationally.coach appiah is a joke for his remuneration.

In sports, just as in party politics, if you don't field the best team, you don't win, period.
Last Sunday, Baltimore Raven were able to win the Super Bowl because the team they fielded played better than the team that lost.
The fact is we did not field the best team for AFCON 2013. Hindsight is 20/20, but we should have gone the extra mile to bring Michael Essien, Abeyie, Waris, Muntari, and the Ayews into the team.

You should be reminded that the results of the presidential election is a matter before the Supreme Court. Until the outcome is declared, nothing is cast in stone. It is therefore, premature to assert that "in sports, just as in party politics, if you don't field the best team, you don't win, period".

While your assertion may be accurate in sports, the same cannot always be accurate about party politics. Hence the Constitution makes provision for the Supreme Court to adjudicate on electoral disputes, to ascertain whether indeed a party won only because it fielded the "best team" as you assert.

Why this inexperience! yet he continued to kick our free kicks and corners. Look like Atsu too performed woefully. Kwesi Appiah knowing that there was no way we could beat Burkinafaso within regulation extra time removed Wakaso, our only hope for the pernalty leaving Asamoah Gyan who dead mother had asked him not to take penalty picks. Why then did he take free-kicks. The whole selection beats my imagination and I have vowed never to waste my time even ten minutes listening or watching the Black Stars in any future event.
