Did the EC OFFICIALLY, say anywhere that there were 247,000 votes from abroad. Was it just hearsay? Or what? =========== QUOTE: "....... it will horrify the NPP folks who falsely believe the claim by a certain liar at the EC that the EC has a list of 247,000 Ghanaian diplomats who voted across the globe during the 2012 Elections. ""

ANSWERS

The EC did indeed conduct the mop-up registration and those captured were Ghanaians on Peace Keeping duties, students on government scholarships, prisoners, and residents of Akuse. The 241,000 people also involved those in other parts of the country who missed out the first registration exercise. In case you have forgotten, the EC did not register the people of Akuse in the first registration due to an injunction by the Supreme Court.

And I strongly believe that Ghanaians especially the NPP folks have not forgotten that the EC explained thoroughly that due to the nature of the registration of the 241,000 people, they have been placed under a special register. But quite strangely, the NPP people are making mountains out of nothing and pretending as if they are hearing about this number for the first time. I wish after painfully explaining this, they will better understand the situation and rather concentrate on how to provide better and several particulars from the 11,916 polling stations to back their claims at the Supreme Court.

Check your facts. Mahama is not tasked to do what you stated above, it is the EC that has to provide that information. Mahama is not the EC, he, just like Akuffo Addo as a Candidate does not have to validate the names and identities of voters. Shame on misinformation.

Adofo again is in the news about his desperate attempt to muddy the waters in respect of their fruitless court case. In the first place the Supreme Court never asked President Mahama to provide records on the registration of Ghanaians resident abroad. Why because it is not President Mahama who conducted the registration of the voters and therefore how could the court ask him to produce those fact. Adofo should do well not to confuse what goes on at the Supreme court. Again, never has President Mahama nor Tsatsu been to or solicited assistance from any Data base institution in London to do anything in connection with List of those who were purported to have been registered abroad. What the EC did after the general registration was a mob up registration which covered personnel of the Ghana Armed Forces who returned from Peace Keeping Mission, the people of Akuse who could not register because a case that was pending at the High Court. This figure made up the over 200,000 voters that the NPP is trying to know. Indeed nobody was registered abroad and that the mob up was done in Ghana. Adofo please make your research and come back. Nobody voted by prosy .
