MR. Norvor's analyses on the Black Stars is spot on but trying to draw a correlation between the Black Stars and the NDC is just way over the board. The recent appointments of the President is an ample attestation of the character and direction of the NDC govt.sometimes we tend to confuse principles with loyalty and that is the case with Kofi Adams and Victor Smith. NDC as a Party have changed over the years and it is still modernising.

The quality of football is a microcosm of the nature and efficiency of the sociopolitical systems of a country. A nation that can organize its Sports Ministry effectively can utilize the same mechanism for its political, economic and social systems and vice versa. History has proven that great leaders utilize sports as a means of projecting positivism and progress as a gateway to attract international investment and to instill in its citizens a sense of pride, dignity and excellence. NDC should investigate immediately why Ghana's performance in sports fluctuates and now in DISASTROUS decline. There is no way out of the negative perception BY THE FANS of the GFA, coach AA, Black Stars. This is a reflection of poor management and therefore regime. The stigma of decline in football is contagious, and a reflection of a cancerous system of governance.

If GFA wants to play hardball when it come to accountability with the so-called Fifa so be it next time they need money let them go to Fifa. How on earth we did not put in place selective system to select a coach I wanted a Ghanaian coach but the field should have been open to all Ghanaian coaches the truth is that if Akwesi Appiah had not played for Kotoko but had played for Winneba Great Stars people would have call for head and he would have been appointed in the first place. As far as I may agree with you on some issues, I think the exclusion of Dede Ayew was in the right order and Coach kwasi Appiah must be commended for that. You rightly said, the Black star is for the nation and not individuals. Moreover no player is higher that the team. Therefore IF reports concerning Ayew's attitude and rudeness to the technical team was true then, the coach was right to EXCLUDE him irrespective and NO MATTER THE CONSEQUENCE.

If one considers manchester united, it is discipline that has brought them this far. Even though I don't support united or sir Alex Ferguson, I like his disciplineering attutude. He had the boldness to exclude his topmost player, David Bechham and Wayne Rony when they tried to project themselves adove the team.

Ghanians should develop such attitude and stop unnecessary criticisms and favouratisms due to the player's performance and background.

How on earth can the writer suggest K P Boateng. A player who has openly shown gross disrespect to the entire Nation not once, twice or three times. Such a player should be utterly excluded and be banned for playing the the nation NO MATTER WHAT!

I suspect he is not comfortable when the matured players are around therefore hiding behind, 'I AM BUILDING THE TEAM'. Don't you build a team with senior players who could stand the pressures of AFCON?

A disciplined head-coach would have resigned after disgracing the nation, Ghana, after the AFCON.

How on earth would a competent Head-Coach substitute his BEST PENALTY TAKER when a game is heading towards penalty kicks?

The Black Stars is too big a team for the head coach. He needs to upgrade himself tactically but for the mean time, the nation needs competent head-coach like Jones Atuqueifio (i hope the spelling of surname is correct).

The Nigerian head coach, Keshie, was not afraid to use some of his big international players like Mikel of Chelsea.

Yea, Gyan is a good footballer but not a Captain material. Anyway, why was he made a captain of the Black Stars after his change of mind to play for the team after the Ayews have toiled for the qualification of AFCON? WAS IT A COMPENSATION?
That was a very bad decision.

What prompted Kwasi Appiah to wear a track-suit when his team was playing with the Burkinabas? At the grance of his dressing during the other games, I thought he was a chief executive of one of the corporations which are failing our brothers and sisters at home in terms of service delivery.

Ghana needs something better than what was received at AFCON.
