  U should also learn that there re two sides of the coin; the government and the people. If u want the people to change their philosophy then the government must also change their philosophy. The government is the worst user when it comes to electricity water and fuel so pls advice urself

  I appreciate your chronicling of the potential benefits to pay for full cost on fuel to the nation , but what prove exist to show that the revenue generated will be put to good use. I'm afraid the institutions in place are nothing more than ' a leaking basket' that individuals will find ways of diverting such funds to their personal gain at the expense of the nation.
  In the absence of prove that the potential savings of going for full cost or removal of subsidies on fuel to the country can be guaranteed , the burden of such increases only leaves the ordinary man in a state of hopelessness.
  
  If you want to know more about the rot and leaks in the system take a look at how much is generated in revenue from tax , you will care if we are serious as a nation to sustain our progress . It is too little too low and the bulk of it gets to private pockets . What about the amount of money that goes into judgement debt ? What happens if individuals affiliated to government are mentioned in scandals- an educated guess will be true that they go unpunished. You can think of the Wyome of today and the Anane of the yesteryear regime.
  So do not leave out efficiency in the light of the institutional readiness to deal with the leaks and chronic corruption to what the savings can really do and not what the potential savings can do.
