  YOU ARE COMPLETELY WRONG. THE WESTERN WORLD STOPPED PERSECUTING WITCHES BECUASE THEY SAW THAT THEY WERE KILLING INNOCENT PEOPLE. SCIENCE EDUCATION OPENED THEIR EYES AND THEY REALISED THEIR FOLLY AND IGNORANCE.
  
  IN AMERICA, A FEW HUNDRED SO-CALED WITCHES WERE KILLED IN SALEM. THATS IT. BUT THEY SAW IT WAS ALL WRONG AND THEY THE PEOPLE KILLED WERE INNOCENT PEOPLE.
  
  I HAVE RESEARCHED THIS WELL. TODAY IF YOU LOOK AT PLACES WERE WITCHES ARE PERSECUTED, IT IS SOME REMOTE PARTS OF INDIA, PAPAUA NEW GUINEA AND PLACES WERE PEOPLE HAVE LITTLE EDUCATION LIKE GHANA AND NIGERIA.

  Adressing this problem will need a colaborative effort from both the private secter and the government.
  
  First on the list, is the need to educate these witches in life skills, communication, Home Economics and social and basic General sciences.
  
  Secondly, there must be a need to integrate them in the society at large.
  
  Thirdly, northeners may need to be advised to stop eating late in the evenings or nights which may easily cause one to have wild dreams!
