Ghana can never make any breakthrough as far the basic needs of the ordinary are concerned. We need water, we need electricity, we need jobs but what did we hear from the president some two days ago? " To built a GIANT STATUE of Dr. Nkrumah.....," at this crucial time where places of convenience are conspicuously missing in our cities, towns working places etc. And the motive, as i can figure out, is political ploy to entice the Nkrumaist under his umbrella as there is a looming danger of a possible re-run of the last December elections.
Also his reluctance to help the attorney generals department to clean up the mess he himself and the late president Mills help created, in the area of judgement debt payments, as stated by Martin Amidu just yesterday, speaks volumes of what we should expert from his greedy outfit. His penchant to selfishly amass wealth through the fishy deals in the acquisition of the Brazilian Embraer air planes couple with the abortive STX Korean deal clearly shows he is not ready to be any bodies keeper.
What is more intriguing is the recent prices hike of fuel when we produce oil on our land amply demonstrate how insensitive and incompetent his administration is.
The only thing the NDC is capable of doing best is how to manipulate the minds of Ghanaians to win elections. They will tax the people heavily, play the tribal card and when elections come they would spread the monies to some foolish village chiefs, buy bicycle and hoes and cutlasses for the gullible fool soldiers, pay huge monies to serial callers to throw dust unto the eyes of the poor and the desperate, and paint NPP as Ashanti party, and all you can hear is 'Ede be Keke'.
