The 's' differentiates them from their noun counterparts such as advice, practice, licence and offence. In the same way, prophecy is the noun. Notice the 'c' just as the nouns mentioned above. Thus, Rev Bempah falsely prophesied that JM will die. His prophecy will never come true. Amen!

And don't worry, others besides former President Kufuor are secretly taking steps to avert the prophesy even while pretending to be unconcerned before the public. The whisper in town is that one prominent personality mentioned is quietly sponsoring ten pentecostal pastors to Israel to offer special prayers on his behalf. The big question is whether this prominent person is ready and willing to undo what he did wrong in the sight of God to make his prayers acceptable to the Almighty who abhors cheating. Time will tell.

I have read the article by Margaret Jackson, and I agree with her in her concerns about how the "List of Death was revealed.

Personally, I believe the list of those who may go "home" during the year was released with the integrity of the "Revelator" in mind and under protection. As it is, if any of them die, then his prediction has come to pass,however, if none of them go "home", it will be attributed to the fact that those around him/her prayed. Anybody can put his/her neck on the block with such a prediction.

God reveals things through His prophets to comfort, encourage and build up, not to frighten as in the present case. I will encourage those mentioned, their family and loved ones not to loose sleep over the prediction. They may pray if they want to, but not out of fear. God is a God of love not a God of fear.

I also encourage Rev. Bempah to be tactful in what he says and how he says it in future. We are called to use occasions such as Watch Night service to give hope to God's children, not to frighten them. They come to service already frightened by the world. We are to feed them with the Good News and hope.

Owusu Bempa has no good intentions. He is using what is known in psychiatry as sublimation. That is he is using these tricks to divert attention from his shame for prophesizing that NPP would win the 2012 elections.Better said, he is displacing his shame on something that does not exist. first of all you are not a prophet an have never heard from God. you neither know maybe, the one who spoke to him is the one who instructed him to it the way he did it. its not the first time he is prophesysing in the public so what is ghains problem? there are many prophets and they all prophecy publicly. what is necessary is that, those people whose names poped up should look for intervention. they should fast and pray to avert the situation and also go see the mAN OF God to pray for them or give them directions. they are not part of his congregation so however they hear it, at least he has said it and they have for sure heard it. if they decide not to do anything about it, it is their own problem.

Prophet Owusu Bempah is clearly not like any of the prophets in the Bible. In the Bible, prophets are God's spokespersons through whom God forewarned His people of a crisis that He God is about to visit on them because of their sinful ways so that they would repent and receive His deliverance.
In Owusu Bempah's prophecies, he named many prominent personalities as going to die in 2013 unless they pray to avert it. He did not reveal that the personalities are going to die as a result of any evil deeds. All that God wants, is for them to pray to avert death. God must be a wicked God to be threatening prominent persons with death if they don't pray to avert it.
What Owusu Bempah must know is that, death is universal. It is not only prominent persons who can die.
God's sole interest in the affairs of men is to deliver them from our wicked ways and give us life and not death. It is not only prominent persons God who are in need of God's salvation from their sins but all of us including Owusu Bempah.
Owusu Bempah need to repent and change his own wicked thoughts and imaginations and pray that God give him love for all men/women high or low.
