Even though I don't know the exact circumstances surrounding the departure of Kevin from the team, I certainly agree with you that there is an inferiority complex that many Ghanaians have when faced with "Whites", and it is not doing us any good.
Of course you cannot bring them all out here for them to see that those whites are just like you, some being wicked losers, some being just ordinary and some being wonderful, just like Ghanaians.
I have never been able to figure out how Chinese, Spanish, Phillipinos and what have you, can just walk in there and start using crude methods to do galamsey and pollute our environment, and simply be allow to continue to do that, especially after some of them then go on to open fire on our citizens and law enforment agents. This is simply not possible anywhere else in the world, and we better sit up and deal with these issues or the rape of our resources will continue,

There are some underlying race issues here. However, I think the major football issue is, " if we are bringing in a new player, is the player going to change our results in the last few tournaments" My answer to that question is unless the player is a proven striker, they will not change that much. Our weakness is at the forward position. Is he a forward or midfielder???

We need an infusion of seasoned and experienced players to blend with the new and young talented players in the team wno lack experience. Kevin Prince Boateng will be a major boost to the team, whichever position he plays.

I agree with you Frank. How can we allow Chinese and others to come over to ghana and pollute our rivers and cause environmental degradation through galamsey activities and still get away with it. This will not happen anywhere in the world except in Ghana and other parts of Africa. No ghanaian can ever go and replicate the attitude of the Ghana based Chinese on China soil and not face the wrath of the over 2 billion chinese.
If the story is true which I believe it is then we ghanaians owe Kevin Prince Boateng an apology.

What the hell has the first part of this stupid article got to do with Boateng’s refusal to play for Ghana? The least said about the second part, the better. Listen Mister, Ghana does not need FREE LOADERS to call the shots. Your “messiah Boateng” used Ghana to boost his playing career. Who knew Prince Boateng prior to his debut for Ghana? But I don’t blame him. I blame lickspittles like the writer of the above article. Is Boateng better than Abedi and his sons who have always honored the national call? Is Boateng better than Essien, Muntari, Asamoah Gyan and other PATRIOTS who have served their nation with distinction? Prince Boateng can do whatever he deems fit in Europe, Ghana will not kotow to treachery. The pathetic Obeng Nana or whatever he calls himself should bow his dee-ball head in shame for supporting the hubris of Boateng. Boateng’s star might be shining elsewhere but he’s not bigger than Ghana. Ghana TE ASE DAA

Mister Dodowa you miss the whole point. The first part of the article is to draw the reader's attention to the age-long worship of everything white which continues till today to our detriment.I cannot fault Kevin for his frustration and disappointment over reverse racism in Ghana of all places which was least expected .If the story is true then we owe him an apology. The man walked off the field in Greece in protest against racist chants and taunts against him from the crowd and the entire team followed suit. That's a true blackman. I salute him. He detests any form of racism anywhere. In Ghana it's reverse racism. We worship whites. No offence Mr Dodowa.

PKB felt he had a little chance to play in the German national team, therefore took the opportunity to play for black stars to launch himself on the international stage - world cup. He succeeded in getting a good contract thanks to his performance at the world cup and most importantly the platform we gave him. Now he resigns from the black stars stating why -- wants to concentrate on his international carrier.
So why are people trying very hard to manufacture other reasons for his absence? Mother Ghana is being taken over by idiots

I used to think that Asantes, by the way that they carried themselves about as being superior to all others in Ghana, were generally not susceptible to these despicable racist taunts and pejorative stereotyping to which the rest of us so-called lesser or inferior beings are subjected on a daily basis by them. As a friend is always won't to remind me: no where cool. What then is the difference in status between a Boateng from Kumasi and an Azure from Bongo in the eyes of the European? Apes, abi?

"He chose to come play for Ghana"..somewhere in the 3rd. paragraph. That is not true! He had no other choice for his international soccer career after numerous rejections by the Germans, his first and preferred choice and that is the crystal truth. He has usefully used Ghana to propel his career and that is fine after all his father is a Ghanaian. He should have made his concerns well stated and clarified rather than the action he embarked upon. We Ghanaians feel cheated, robbed and above all disrespected by this KPB.Tony Baffoe came to play, too.

The incident you refer to concerning Prince Boateng walking off the pitch in protest against racial insults by a minority of people (not all the people in the stadium) did not happen in Greece; it happened in Italy at a charity match to raise funds for the 'patriots'. Please check your facts before you publish (google)
Secondly, I am not sure whether the reasons (unless Prince told you himself and not that you are guessing to support your view in this article) for walking out of the black stars was because the coach was 'white'. You are right in saying he was third rate; after all we do not know of any titles he won as a coach in any of the premier leagues. He was incompetent full stop.
Finally, if the black coach becomes a flop and wins nothing because he is 4th rate he should not be retained simply because he is black; he should also be sacked because he is nth rate.
We should try and make things clear and not the muddy the waters with racial bias. Generally speaking successive governments have always given foreigners of all colours preferential treatment over Ghanaian or black counterparts when offering contracts; that is true but always making a case using colour only as the basis must be treated with caution.

I hope with your feature article ghanaians would get to understand Kevin Boateng's frustrations with the over pampered 3rd rate white coach. As a black footballer he deals with racists taunts everyday and I can imagine his disbelief and disappointment when he witnessed reverse racism in an all black country, the first in sub Saharan Africa to gain independence from white domination. Thanks for revealing the beautiful side of Kevin Prince Boateng that Ghanaians have never known. Racial prejudice is still alive today though there seems to have been some improvement. America elected the first black president in its history in 2008 and re-elected him 4 years later for a second term but I bet you some whites just can't get over it.A black President of America, leader of the free world? They think they are having a nightmare.
I'm sure upon reading your article many will revise their misconceptions about Kevin which I hope will pave the way for a happy re-union and reconciliation with his ghanaian brothers and a quick return to the national team.
I appreciate your Pan Africanist spirit.I was so impressed with your free spirit I read your article to my West Indian black wife and imagined myself writing something like that. You can email me at lex.mensah@dexscott.com and I'll greatly appreciate it. Thanks.
