Ghana will be better off without the garbage that entangles many African nations.Let us cry our own cry.

There is a popular saying,...
How can u remove the speck from anothers eye, when u have a log in your eye.., ref-the bible.
THe african dream has brought as a lot of 419's... The african dream has brought as ECOMOG,(funding our soldiers in other countries)when our own people up north are fighting.
Well Mr.Honorable, would you please propose a Ghana Dream to parliament and see it through till it succeeds, then come to us with an African one..
Project managing ghana should be easier than project managing africa,,, what do u think.!!!

Just look at what is going on in Ghana? What dream will one experience other than finding ways to get out?

First of all, you have completely ignored history. In fact the so-called American dream or the vision for it was realized by Martin Luther King Jr. whilst he was in Ghana in 1957 to witness our Independence Celebration. That was when those thoughts occurred to him. Secondly, the "African Dream" is one of RESILIENCE in the face of hardship, even slavery, colonialism and its successors. The quest for success whatever the situation is part of the fabric of the African and if you go into the history of every single successful African wherever they may be, you will find grit, determination and fighting against all odds. I am disappointed that though you profess to be a pan-africanist, you do not seem to understand the very meaning of the term and therefore the fundamentals of those who started the movement. Sorry mate, this is disappointing to me.

Very true - in Ghana, there is still the mentality that we are unable to exact from within a true paradigm shift that will result in the economic, political and social changes that will enhance the lives of Ghanaians. We still go out with our begging bowls asking for more from richer nations - except instead of rolling out the swollen-bellied children from decades past, we roll out our politicians and other such beggars in suits. No focus on innovation, self-sustenance or self-determination- it's totally bovine.
I have always felt that what holds Africans back is this:Africans are fundamentally ashamed to be Africans. Because of this they pander and remain subservient to countries who do not necessarily have Africa's best interests at heart, but who are offering quick bucks. This shame emanates through everything. It is why in Sub-Saharan Africa even in this day and age- the paler you are the more you are treated with an undue reverence. Even the most foolish of white, arabic or asian men can step into this country and be treated like little princes or princesses. It's truly pathetic.
Liked your website by the way; I say this as a web developer myself. Looks good.
