On a serious note, the Minority has a right to boycott parliament. However, the way the minority leader handled the communication was a disaster and could hurt the party in the near future. Why state publicly that the minority will be in attendance a day to the event and then disappear on the day? Who is the minority deceiving, the public or their constituents? That was in bad taste because the public could mistrust the minority as a whole or the minority leader.
