You seems to be comparing apples and oranges. There is a culture of leaders resigning in the developed world which is unheard of in Africa. The Pope grew up in that culture and though it's unusual for a Pope to resign, he has. On other hand, that culture is not part and parcel of Ghanaian society. Ghanaian politicians and other leaders including Chiefs and Kings are either kicked out of office or they die with it, even when their positions have become untenable and when their continuing presence in office has become inimical to the very office they occupy and to the state or organisation they lead.

President Mahama will only resign if the Supreme Court rules in favour of the petition pending before the Justices, so please do not be day dreaming. Mills should have resigned when his health was failing but either he refused to do or those around him did not allow him to, so his sudden demise.

All Catholics already know that our Church is a Church of sinners. We are all making efforts to reach Christ. Perhaps, this is the reason why Christ Himself said He did not come for the righteous but for sinner. You must rethink your script. The NPP and your allies want to end up stepping on the toes of every Ghanaian. Such a posture is very bad. No single individual or group of people have it all. I think this is the reason why God made us in diversity to appreciate each other and support each in our weaknesses and strengths. Thank you.

If you have closely watched this man from the time he was vice president til now you will understand my point. Remember him also ordering the EC: Verification or no verification, let my people vote. He told Ghanaians; go vote for me so that idiots won't become president. Remember the saying that folks who pretend to be cool are the most dangerous in society? Mahama's demeanor in public is all FAKE. He wants to be president at all cost. A person who can HURT his wife by sleeping with all these women and having children with them does not know anything about DECENCY. In Africa, these behaviors are probably normal. In developed countries Mahama has no chance becoming President. I am not a supporter of Nana Addo, but he is a great democrat.Look at what he is doing for Ghana now about the elections. His actions now will strengthen Ghana's democracy. He may not carry a whole lot of likeability personality but he cares a lot about his country and its people. That is what Ghana needs now. He is not corrupt like Mahama. Take a look at his record. If he were to be the president, I will agree he will resign if he feels his performance isn't yielding results. But for Mahama, REGARDLESS, HE WILL NEVER RESIGN SIMPLY BECAUSE HE IS A POWER DRUNK.

The purported scandals the writer talked about are all issues of false allegations. There has also not been any defections in the government as it is being portrayed. Anything besides that will not work and the current Pope could only handle it by resignation to give way to either of the two African Cardinals from Ghana and Nigeria.
