  Kudos Micheal! This is a fantastically well balanced analysis of the emergence of politically nuisance groups parading themselves as promoters of democracy. Rather, I see them as destroyers of our enviable democracy.

  Mike, I am afraid Ghanaian politicians may not actually be washing their faces, let alone wash them upwards. If they do they would have had clear eyes to see the root in their midst and society.

  I think the lack of job opportunities in Ghana create fertile grounds for these groups to mushroom in Ghana. It's a kind of jobs for the boys even if they are unpaid. There is nothing for them to do so they find a way of being relevant. That is all.

  I happened to read the other article of JK on this same page last night, captioned " Kwame Pianim’s idiot tears the party’s flag" and the objective of which the contents seek to adumbrate was one the greatest balderdash that can ever effuse from the only seeming Trokosi fine columnist on this forum, though bias most of the time. I have been following Bokor on this forum for sometime now and know him to be not a champion of foul language but to hide behind what Kwame Pianim said to indirectly pour invectives on the leader of the NPP is too low a blow, below the belt, which nearly made me puke. But this article on the so many "political' splinter groups in the system is, by any stretch of imagination, is a good one, an unbiased analysis of the status quo which demand more attention than to just wash it under the carpet because of the potency of the 'immature' antics of those grouping to derail the relative peace Ghana is enjoying now. But hey, who am I to make a fuss about these groupings since they bask in the glow of the powers that be. The activities of those idle hands are handsomely rewarded at the expense of the taxpayer and some other benevolent organizations which is one of the basis of the major waste and drain on the economy. Call yourselves 'Friends Of John Mahama' and the next day a posh brand new car will be your portion of the national cake. A dream come true. This is a country where serial callers like Yaw Nketia( Dr. Asemfofro) is riding in posh cars, courtesy president Mahama, when University lecturers struggle with other hardworking Ghanaians to get trotro to go to work. That is my country Ghana for you.
