How can you regards your fellow black Africans as "ALIENS" in Africa and expects them to celebrate black history month with you? Which black history are you talking about? Ghanaians blacks or mama Africa blacks?

Whether the IGNORAMOUS Ghanaians likes it or not, I AM NOT AN ALIEN in mama Africa. Every part of the soils of mama Africa from Cape to Cairo, is my HERITAGE.

Don't forget the ancestor who brought Black History Month to being. He was Carter G. Woodson. This original thinker had a goal. As you are well aware, original thinkers normally don’t see anything wrong without correcting it. Carter G. Woodson was no exception. This is a quote made by Ancestor Woodson about his people. “I have met math teachers who knew nothing about African contributions to math; ministers who could not properly place African people in the Bible; physicians who had never heard of Imhotep; and students from Southern Africa who knew nothing about Nile Valley history. One factor that all these people had in common was that they had been educated by the very people who had written them out of history. That is why in his book, the Mis-education of the Negro he argued against blind education with this statement. He then went on to organize and create avenues for African-Americans ministers to properly place Africans in the Bible. For physicians to know who Imhotep was and for students from Southern Africa, Central Africa and West Africa to know something about Nile Valley civilization, he brought about Black History Month. Just one month in a year, remind people of African ancestry to look for information regarding their history. When we celebrate Black History Month, this is a name that should always be at the forefront. Celebrate, we must but with recognition of Carter G. Woodson.

Black history month is for those in America. In Ghana, we celebrate our heritage with our festivals and customs. Don't preach to us on black history because we live it daily in Ghana.

The Anglo history (whites) and the Spanish (also considered whites) have an immense history that goes back thousands of years. If they should ever make white history centuries, it would be ridiculous. Case in point: Juan De La Cierva - father of the helicopter. Born: 1895 Died: 1936. Born in Spain. As a boy had already blueprints of a C.4 prototype "helicopter" - was an aeronautical engineer, civil engineer. Just an example of doctors, lawyers, scientists that came out of Spain and not even mention the white Europeans. What about giving our ancestors credit where it is due. If they did, it would be considered racist and ridiculous having white history centuries. With all due respect, when our ancestors were creating inventions, beautiful symphonies, medicine, scientists, etc, etc, etc, the black people were still wearing loincloths in Africa. They did not invent anything or build these towering architectural miracles that were already in Spain and all of Europe. Our white ancestors tremendously influential in this world. Because they would be called racists, we have to hold back the dam of "bragging" and so we will let it rest with black history month. Anyone out there, read your history from hundreds to thousands years of white inventions and influence the world over and don't forget the exploration of space - all white influenced. Don't forget the Chinese who also have a tremendous influence on this planet. What about Chinese history centuries?
