The poor thing put all his chips in an Akuffo Addo presidency hoping to be a deputy minister to help him out of his UK misery but here he is; power has eluded him to the extent that Adofo's head is spinning like crazy, hence his persistent hollow and silly attacks on Mahama and now attempting to discredict the SC, too. Adofo's state of denial is at its peak at the moment but he will graually come around it to accept the reality that neither would Akuffo Addo become a president of Ghana nor Adofo achieving his dream of becoming a deputy minister. Poor thing.

NPP has forgotten that it was the Chief Justice and for that matter the Supreme Court which legitimized the Presidency of John Dramani Mahama for swearing him in? What of the IGP and the GAF Commander who provided security for the otherwise "illegal" event of the Swearing-in? Let the NPP join these three as Respondents. Until they can do that, as Kwame Pianin rightly reason, they have no case.

Honestly please! I feel offended by the statement above. Are they the experts on our legal issues? Who cares about your "white legal minds"? After almost two decades in Europe and America, I have become convinced that Ghana produces some of the best legal minds anywhere. Playing on some inferiority complex by assuming that your "white legal minds" are some kind of "Higher Authority" even on our local legal issues of which they may not have an even-handed access to the details, just displays the doubts you have in any analysis that you make on your own.

Ghana practices the separation of powers and therefore one arm of the government can't usurp the powers of another. In this vein, the SC can't interfer in the work of the EC which is mandated by the country's constitution to conduct and supervise elections, declare and gazette the winner of that election so conducted. The SC is just there to interprete the law (constitution) and we know that the NPP is not seeking for the interpretation of any law bordering the conduct of the 2012 elections but rather hyping on some irregulaties. In this vein, any hopes of the SC taking away or reversing the mandate of the people which they expressly invested in John Dramani Mahama is absolutely mute. The best thing the SC can do is maybe, just maybe, calling for re-election in the disputed areas which the NDC would also sue for re-election in areas won by Akuffo Addo. Indeed, May the Good Lord bless our homeland Ghana.

I am however happy that you have said that the supreme court should consider the evidence before it rather than your speculations. I expect you to be calm and expect justice in Ghana. the SC is made up of men and women of integrity and I hope you prepare your mind to accept their judgement.
