I was admitted to Azoka (not Azorka) Secondary School in September 1964, as part of the second batch; the School having started in September 1963. The Headmaster then was Dr. Y. D. Agyeman-Dickson. It was after the coup of 1966 that the School's name was changed to Bawku Sec. School. The School was then headed by Mr. R. A. Ajene. My batch finished in July 1969.
