Prof, I am beginning to be very concerned about your reasoning and conclusions. Did you ever study Logic at school? It is bizarre for you to conclude that because Rawlings and Paa Kwesi Nduom called for investigations into the elections or support Nana Akufo Addo's petition, they believe Nana Akufo Addo won the presidential election. I also support the petition not because I believe that Nana Akufo Addo won but because I really do not know who genuinely won the Presidency. Again, because I believe it will improve Ghana's electoral management and democracy in general. Your conclusion is illogical.

For your information, Nana Akufo Addo made a monumental error of judgement by publicly announcing that Konadu had given her support to him and being forced to withdraw it. That was a sign of desperation and it backfired badly.

Are you serious in suggesting that "NPP leadership acted rather unwisely, when it so selfishly decided not to file an amicus brief in the shameful wake of Mrs. Rawlings' being mischievously disqualified by Dr. Afari-Gyan from contesting the 2012 presidential election, on the flagrantly dubious pretext that the former first lady had hopelessly failed to properly fill her presidential contest application forms"?

On what basis would NPP have filed an amicus curiae brief? If that was the case why didn't NPP file Nana Konadu's presidential nomination forms for her or get some of their legal brains to complete the forms for her instead of leaving that to Ernest Owusu Bempa who made a mess of himself?

You are a very interesting professor. Have you lost the ability to reason rationally just because Nana Akufo Addo is not the President of Ghana?

And of course, Akufo-Addo and NPP by taking the EC to the Supreme Court have the chance to submit their evidence that shows that the EC rigged in favour of President Mahama. And as your justification goes with the alleged comments of JJ and Konadu, who in your view, know that the EC rigged in favour of President Mahama/NDC, why don't you get JJ and Konadu to give their witness statements and to unleash the details of the rigging in court?

In any case, any sound minded person knew the elections was planned to be rigged way back in 2010 when it took the Ghana statistical Service almost two years to announce the results of the census amidst firing of the then boss by the Mill/Mahama administration. Anyways what more important at the moment is how the EC came up with 241,000 diasporan registration and the 28 'ghost' pulling stations of which we the NPP do not know the agents who represented the NPP at those pulling station.

Most Ghanaians voted massively for Nana Addo to be the President of Ghana but because of the NDC evildoers who were scared to be jailed gave EC huge bribe so that NDC can go for another four years.

But I thank Almighty God for what Ghanaians and NDC corrupt leaders are taking us to. No watre ,no electricity,no petrol, no gas and no diesel as well.

Many are losing their jobs e.g. hairdressers, tailors, weeders, peolpe are dying at the hospitals due to the lack of electricity supply.

Mahama and his corrupt NDC will will receive punishment from the Almighty God who created the Heaven and Eath.

Ghana has everything I mean everything and we don't deserve to be in such situation at this 21st century but because of lack of leadership that is the reason why we are going through all these problems.

Do you feel proud as a ghanaian wnen the executive, judiciary, and legislature have just increased their already fat salaries and benefits(retrospective 2009) at a time when the economy has flatlined, most ghanaians are going to bed hungry,income levels pitiably low and the people have to contend with power and water crisis?
Do you feel proud as a ghanaian that we found the black gold at the opportune time yet with an oil refinery in Tema we find it necessary to export our share of the crude oil and import petrol,asphalt base, diesel fuel, kerosene and liquefied gas, all by-products of the refinery process at a great cost to the nation?
Do you feel proud that we've been mining gold and diamonds for ever but we have nothing to dhow for it ?
Do you feel proud as a ghanaian that the administration in the short space of 4 yers have added 10 billion to the external debt that stood at 8 billion at the time they took over the reins of government and soon after a controversial election during which the administration went on a spending spree the nation is broke?

Have you considered how much the gov't has also spent on infrastructure? Don't you also think that the current economic challenges are as result of the mismanagement during Kuffour's time. Bad policies matures after some time.

NPP filed the most stupid petition in the world upon all the band of intellectuals and elites in the party.Let me make it clear here,no responsible political leader will ever demand court to "overturn a declared electoral results by EC",this is completely absurd.Even with my elementary education,I will never do such a mistake because it's illogical.In the civilized and democratic world when a political leader feels he has been cheated in elections,the best and logical petition he does is to demand for a "recount" which has legal merit and tangible reason.Nana Addo should have known that as lawyer,it does not make any sense to demand the Supreme Court to simply overturn declared results,simply invalidate results and simply throw away 4 million valid votes cast,for what reason my friend?.This is pure "intellectually and mentally laziness" as quoted by Mr Kwame Pianim.The whole petition is completely rubbish in my candid opinion and must be dismissed immediately.Nana Addo has defeated himself and must reasonably concede defeat and stop playing hooliganism,it will never work.Thank you.

Mr and Mrs Rawlings and Paa Kwesi Ndoum have not made any public declaring Akuffo Addo the winner of the 2012 Presidential elections.
The NPP made a public declaration, even before the EC announced the results, claiming that Akuffo Addo had polled nearly 52% of the votes.

The petition before the Supreme Court is asking for 11 million votes, all from polling stations won by Mahama, to be annulled so that Akuffo Addo be declared President. According to the petition, there wasn't a single incidence of error, over voting, duplicated serial numbers, unsigned pink sheets in any of the polling stations which Akuffo Addo won. This can hardly be declared as "he won hands down".

To the bring in the export of gold which has nothing to do with the government into an argument about who won the elections, is no more than cobbling together disjointed and false assertions. Throwing so much mud and hoping that some will stick.

The Prof has this urge to write something but he has run out of cogent arguments and sadly is spewing out garbage.

Those shortcomings in her application were huge, not small things. Konadu knew herself there was no way she could have properly completed those forms. That is why she did not take the EC to court.

That woman is a fighter and if she knew she had a case, she would have fought it tooth and nail. She knew she had no case and she was even lucky that the EC did not make known to all Ghanaians the real reasons why her application forms were sent back. You can't dodge taxes for so many years when you have so many assets and then want to become president of the republic!
