So all of a sudden Cows and Guinea Fowls has got loud mouth so much big so that not even human beings can talk without being insulted in our own land. Hohoe Trokosi chief and his subjects were damn right when they turn Hohoe Zongo into a refuse dump. Much of such uprising must be expected if that is how cracked heels are going to behave in mother Ghana.

I am one of those who readily forgive errors in writing, often ascribing those faults to fat-fingers and lack of time to proof-read. But I have come to believe that we have all become too lazy to review our writings for the purpose of correcting our mistakes prior to publishing.

I would humbly suggest to all who contribute to the various forums to manage proof-reading more to cut down on grammatical errors. That would both facilitate understanding the points raised in the writings and show that Ghanaians, who want to share ideas with the World at large, can write proper English.

If we don't care about many others understanding what we write, then we should as well resort to writing in our Vernacular tongues.

Nevertheless, we must not smother the flames of pertinent issues with arguments over grammatical errors. The points raised in each piece must be addressed intelligently and productively to benefit the Nation and her entire Citizenry.

We must stop the primitive tribalism and bigotry to focus on what needs to be done to get our Country growing for all. We must seriously address the rampant Corruption, the insidious political interference in Businesses, the crass incompetence that is killing many a good program, like the NHIS, and the gross negligence in maintaining and upgrading our basic infrastructure.

Long Live Ghana!

It's not humbleness nor humility to do the "Fa ma Nyame" thing as we are wont to do. I'd call it timidity, naivety, and foolishness.
And what's righteous about for instance Afari Gyan falsely declaring there were 241,000 ghanaians registered to vote abroad instead of a mere 705?
In 2008 the NDC and its supporters invaded the offices of the EC and threatened they'd impose a Kenya-like anarchy and mayhem on Ghana if the EC did not declare their candidate as the winner of the presidential election. That's characteristically un-ghanaian. Typically in a situation like this ghanaians would say "Enye hwee, gyae mu ma enka, Fama Nyame."
What's also unheard of and un-ghanaian is Nana Akuffo Addo and colleagues' decision to neither do the "Fa ma Nyame" ritual nor the Kenya way as the NDC threatened to do in 2008. Instead they decided on something new and un-ghanaian by choosing to go to the Supreme Court to seek redress and resolution. That's noble, civil and patriotic.
Nana Addo and his colleagues have given african democracy and politics a huge face lift. Contrary to the african norm which the advanced democracies expected Ghana to adhere to, we chose the better way to give democracy, the rule of law and peace a chance.
Let's give praise where it's due and stop criticising just for the sake. Nana Akuffo Addo and his NPP colleagues deserve commendation not condemnation.

Just yesterday, I was listening to the acceptance speech, delivered by the President-elect of Kenya, Mr Kenyatta, on the BBC.

The loser of the elections in Kenya,is emulating 'the Nana Akuffo Addo style'. He has protested at the Kenyan Supreme Court. that the elections were rigged.

He did not take guns!

Now just see. Even at this incipient stage, at a time that Ghana's Supreme Court has not come out with its verdict, Nana Akuffo Addo and Ghana are reaping the fruits from the seed planted just last December 2012.

The seed sown by Nana Akuffo Addo and Co only last December, has germinated, grown into tree, and has started bearing fruits for people to consume.

Fortunately for the Kenyans, and unfortunately for Ghana, it is in the Kenyan Constitution that, the President-elect would not be sworn -in until after the decision by the Kenyan Supreme Court.

Whilst I do not subscribe to most of the ideas expressed on this forum by Dr Okoampah- Ahoofe, I feel, at times, one has to reason out, sieve the facts from the chaff.

'Two mistakes, do not make a right'.

If Dr. Okoampah- Ahoofe, is wrong, does it mean or imply that one should be 'wronger' or more wrong?

I will quote some of the facts I do not agree agree with the writer of this article.

".. Of cause we all know Nana-Addo is un-Ghanaian. Twice he had his name on the ballot for president of the country, and twice the people of Ghana in their collective wisdom said no!!!"

This is very very wrong!. This is the reason why Nana Akuffo Addo is re-writing history? I will not comment on the outcome of the petition. It is still with the Supreme Court, but it would be my wish, for the sake of posterity and people of like minds, to have the election results overturned.

Dr Afari Gyan has cheated Ghanaians for a very long time. His cup is full.

Besides, to add more salt to injury, he went on,and I quote

When Afari Gyan supervised elections that kicked out the NDC and brought in the NPP, he was not "cheating Ghanaians". Now when the NPP got knocked out, Afari Gyan must take the blame. Does that make any sense to you?

You can say whatever you like but the fact remains that Afari Gyan knows no sacred cows and whatever he does is from his God-given conscience. If to you Afari Gyan's cup is full, I would advise you to lift that cup to his lips.

Ex President JJ Rawlings and his NDC won two times. Lottery game one result.

The next plan was that if he makes the NDC to win again, people will begin to raise eyebrows, s,o he made the NPP to win two times as a cover-up. Even here, if it had not been the intervention of President Clinton, Ex President JJ Rawlings would not have relinquished to seat to Ex president Kuffour.

Then his lottery game plan three.
NDC should win two consecutive times and after that it would be the turn of NPP, but because of the untimely death of Ex President Atta Mills ,he has to change the plan. President Mahamah would win for the second time if the wise Nana Akuffo Addo and Co.had not intervened.

Now if this Afari Gyan had not been exposed,the NPP would win again after 2016.

These are the malicious plans of Dr. Afari Gyan.
