Now that kenya has followed the footsteps of Nana Akuffo Addo and Ghana, by choosing the Supreme Courts to vent their grievances, it is a siren call to the Supreme Court Justices to acknowledge that, Africa and the whole world are looking at them.
The issue at the supreme Court is not a Ghanaian issue. It is rather an African and the world in general. It is therefore very important for these Judges to seriously consider all the pertinent facts surrounding this petition and come out with a decision that will not be considered as a travesty of Justice.
I therefore exhort our distinguished Supreme Court Justices to expedite their decision on this petition because The Kenyan Constitution, unlike that of Ghana, do not permit the President -elect to be sworn in before the petition is resolved at the Supreme Court. Ghana should take note here.
And who knows if the Supreme Court in Kenya is waiting for Ghana to set the precedence.
On the other hand, is the Supreme Court In Ghana going to wait and learn from the Supreme Court of Kenya?
'Justice delay is Justice denied!
Ghana would be happier to be the First and Not the Second or the Last.

Now that Africa is seeing the need to resorting to the courts for judgments on election grievances, should there not be a review of the Electoral Commission?
"As power corrupts and absolute power corrupts absolutely" is there a wisdom in concentrating in the hands of one man, for example, The Chairman of The Electoral Commission,, the power of declaration of election results?
.Should election results not be declared by a Body or a Board, like an Electoral College, made up of three persons, to whom The Chairman of the Electoral Commission is responsible?
The Chairman of The Electoral Commission would then be acting as the Executive Director, who carries out the day to day administration of the Commission, but is responsible and accountable to this Board or Body,especially during elections.
I think the establishment of such a body to whom the Chairman is responsible, would go a long way to solve most of these electoral grievances in Ghana and Africa, where power is concentrated into the hands of one man who can make and unmake Presidents.
