  The reality is, Ghana is officially made a safe havens of criminals and an arena for all manners of crook activities shamelessly wrecking the country image with their associate "woyomenized" political criminals who operate here with impunity as our security operatives outrageously become accomplices and our people out of abject poverty are force to become criminal worshipers.
  
  The unscrupulous NDC government in a mafia way has broken down the NHIA system and the people are forced to go to that market to buy these fake Chinese and India killer drugs unknowingly, to accelerate their untimely death, pathetically.

  What a shame! There is this documentary called 60 minutes by CBS in the States. Not too long ago, they run an indepth investigative story about how China, India and Pakistan are selling snake oil as medicine in poor third world countries. This should have been picked up by our Washington embassy and forwarded to the media in Ghana. It was not. I don't know of what use these foreign missions are. Unfortunately, we have missions in very country on earth doing nothing but waste tax payers money. When these drugs are not working for the intended patients, the ones to blame are the usual witches instead of incompetence and simple stupidity.

  people patronized this drugs just because they cant afford the prices of the European drugs.Also those who are suppose to ensure that such drugs do not reach our market are not putting in much effort

  Bro thank you for this article .Those in positions to change this situation does nothing becouse when they are sick they either get medicines from America or Europe or even go there for treatment.

  GHANAIAN HEALTHCARE CONSUMERS could unknowingly be feeding on PELLETS OF PHARMACEUTICAL EXPLOSIVES (THE SILENT POISON) like the writer said SUMS UP EVERYTHING.I am very sad my people are perishing because there are lot of things they do not know.THERE IS NO INDIAN OR CHINESE DRUGS ON ANY PHARMACY SHOP IN CANADA.THEY JUST DON'T QUALIFY TO BE HERE,PERIOD.Therefore,the CHINESE & INDIANS CANNOT BRING THEM ONLY TO BE IMPOUNDED AND DESTROYED.Instead of paying all these unnecessary JUDGMENT DEBTS why doesn't this government think about subsidising on AUTHENTIC DRUGS FROM EUROPE,NORTH AMERICA and ignoring those from CHINA & INDIA,whilst supporting the LOCAL MANUFACTURERS rahter?   Thanks for your article. I hope this article will be a wake up call to health officials. I do not know what has come over the leaders of oue beloved country. We have a good pharmaceutical company like GIHOC Pharmaceuticals, Rawlings and his cronies sold this company out and made most of the workers redundant. GIHOC was producing good quality drugs, but what happen, they diversify the company, sold it to a foreign manufacturer. When are we going to be proud of our own and develop what we have to compete on the international market. It breaks my heart, when it comes to the health of our people, why to our leaders have laikadaisical attitude when it comes to the health of the people, no good drinking water, poor sanitation, e.t.c. what do we see them do, riding in big cars, wasting the country's resources on useless projects that they can profit from. it is high time the good people of this country rise up and hold every person in leadership position for their actions and if possible prosecute them for poor work done.
