When the Republican party lose to Obama with 71% of Hispanics,64% of white women and 90% black, the Republicans knew right there that they have to rebrand and speak to some of the social needs of the "new America" (demographically) that is changing fast and leaving the once all white party behind.
The NPP which is an unofficial adopted child of the Republican party in color and logo, color to color ,elephant to elephant, has still have its head in the sand refusing to face the elephant in room, that elephant is ways and means to appeal to others as a multi ethnic party.
What made Nkrumah to carry the volta region that K4 and Nana Addo can't.?
Visiting few chiefs in the region running up to election every four years is a dinosaur way of winning a fence-sitting people.
Another thing for both parties is during campaign and afterwards, the national color,the Ghanaian flag is totally absent, or may I say banned, so now what are these "fooball teams" are rallying ppl to?

In the US, both parties fashioned their respective party colors out of the national colors and make sure they do nothing without the stars and stripes, the national flag.

NPP in my opinion has to do some soul searching and break into perceived no-go areas and put new faces on leadership roll and also do something about that European color because no Western country is even ready yet to fly red,gold and green even as corporate flag so for a group that prides its self as true Africans or may I say Ghanaians flying that red blue white is a stab on the back.
Please, NDC ,and NPP bring back Ghana into the pre and post campaign.

The NDC is making in-roads into Ashanti and Eastern Region and what do reaction we see get from NPP? Insults and disrespect towards Northerners and Voltarians. WAKE UP NPP! YOU CANNOT INSULT OTHER TRIBES AND EXPECT THEM TO LIKE YOU AND VOTE FOR YOU.It is becoming obvious that Ashanti and Eastern Region alone cannot win the presidency and name calling ("yen akanfuo...") doesn't help either. The current executives and our immidiate past Parliamentary candidates can pave the way for the mass of the people to follow. Even though the party is concentrating seriously on the court case which would last for a short time. So, if the party is dormant at the Polling Station to Constituency, it means that the Regional executives and the Candidates who lost would have to be blamed. The electorate, especially delegates would as well wise up and look out for dedicated and committed members of the party to lead the party and vie for parliamentary seats rather than people who only jump in when elections are due and jump out immediately elections are over.
