Public figures who aspire to lead a whole nation must subject themselves to public scrutiny. Ghana may have more pressing issues now but it is our duty to ask questions; we expect meaningful answers devoid of insults.

If Nana does not want any inquiry into his personal business, he should go back to be the King of the Akyems. But if he really wants to lead Ghana, he should come out and address the many allegations against him.

Justice Kpegah has gone to the High Court to ask them to declare that Nana Akufo Addo was never called to the Bar and so cannot be practicing as a lwayer in Ghana (even though he has been doing so for over thirty years). Why should he (Nana Akufo Addo) respond to this serious matter in public and not before a judge in court? I hope Dr Bokor will facilitate the court case so that we can hear Nana Akufo Addo's defence. As it stands now, if I were him, I would be quiet and wait for the court papers to be served on me. Few years back, the allegation of cocaine usage by Nana Akufo Addo reached a crescendo and everybody knew that the motive was to tarnish his image as he was the preferred candidate of the people in the presidential election. The Ewe cabal (Kpegah, Bokor et al) will stop at nothing in ensuring that Nana Akufo Addo is obliterated from the political scene in Ghana. It will never happen.

SO LONG AS THAT ACCUSATION IS WRITTEN (which it is in this case, then the cause of action is LIBEL. Now to your point, yes, Akuffo-Addo will sue for libel/defamation if he can back his suit up. Be kindly educated that the the most potent defense against a defamation and libel suits is the TRUTH. So, if Akuffo-Addo is aware of the fact that Kpegah'a accusation is true, of course he will no sue him. The question you should therefore ask yourself is why has Akuffo-Addo not initiated a counterclaim agaist Justice Kpegah for Libel/defamation? Maybe because he knows the accusation is true? If not so, why not counterclaim against Kbegah? Hmmmmm.

Nana Akufo Addo is being sued in a High Court in Ghana, why should he tell the general public about whether or not he was called to the Bar when the law requires that he defends his credentials before a judge? When the court papers are served on him, I am definitely sure Nana will appear before the judge.

Did Nana Konadu file a suit? No. A litigant Akuffo Addo would not have wasted no time to file for suit for defamatiom of character. Just imagine the speed with which he bamboozled Tsikata to the fast track court even when it was Sunday. Go and answer in court.

I do not know what you mean by the assertion that Akuffo-Addo has been widely held as a successful lawyer. If you think so, then you are looking at it from a layman's point of view. You are looking at his material success rather than his professional success. I can tell you that those in the legal profession do not hold him as a successful lawyer. He has, (whether undeservedly, considering the latest accusation, only view him as a former President's son and a lawyer that owned his own law firm, no more than that. Ask any lawyer or a judge for that matter to mention successful lawyers past and present and I bet you Akuffo-Addo's name will not me among them. For you therefore to refer to him as a person "widely upheld as a successful lawyer" is widely a misconception. I invite fellow lawyers' comment on this matter. Eight of my fellow learned friends working with my firm are all of the same opinion that I have just expressed, so I know I am not wrong. He may be a successful politician but a successful law i do not think he merits than description.
