Kofi,
First of all, when did Mr Terkper get a PhD? I don't think he has one, which, btw, does not mean he is not capable. I don't have one but I don't feel inadequate before those who have. I came through an institution where MPhil holders were supervising PhD students to get their PhDs. I read through a couple of dissertations myself before they were defended.
Having said that, what kind of logic are you espousing here? That Ms Edkins is at the head of the pack of wolves and so pandering to her would make her our friends and amenable to our wishes and thus compel the wolves which she lead to behave themselves? As for the refusal of our leaders to for production sharing agreements in the nascent oil and gas industry of Ghana, the reason, as you very well know, is simple: those who front for our vampire-elites, will not get free shares in oil blocks, if Ghana goes for production sharing agreements.
Did the E. O. Group not make a massive U.S.$350 millions or thereabouts, when Tullow Oil took over their shares in the Jubilee oil fields?
The crooks-in-high-places in Ghana see that as a benchmark of success to follow. Hmm, Ghana - eyeasem o: asem kesie ebeba debi ankasa!
intentions must be good and honest
