Party politics has actually worsen the plight of the ordinary Ghanaian. People can go to radio stations, stand on political platforms and just insult others. There is no respect for any position in Ghana, so the mentality is to grab quickly what you can get as a goverment appointee before you leave. No one thinks about building Ghana. It's all about money sharing. $3b loan for what? Where are the loans from 1993 till present? all in public hand. The only thing we know is to build big houses with stolen money and squander the rest abroad. All the EOCO and Serious Fraud office or whatever you call them are fake. Our leaders are not smart at all! They are always borrowing but are not there at the time of repayment. Our beautiful Ghana is going down and down and down.

And nothing knowlegable was said about the major reason why most people perhaps read this article that is CORRUPTION. Everybody knows that Rawlings used coup de tal to come to power which got its own merits and dimerit depending on how you take it. However the concern here for us as a country is to find the root cause of corruption after NKrumah regime and most importantly get the remedies to deal with, which this writer can be ashamed of; (he does'nt need to be told, he himself is aware) couldn't write about.
